I always loved powerhouse gym but lately it has become an after-school hangout for 16 and younger..very distracting and just too many little kids

I've been coming here for 13 years, and it has declined in cleanliness, atmosphere has changed and the music they play is awful. It's not modernized at all compared to other gyms, smells like B.O. as soon as you walk in. There is groups of teenagers who walk around barefoot and take up space while performing exercises incorrectly and show no respect for other members. God forbid the owners actually do something. The radio is always on river 105.9, who wants to listen to that/how can you workout to that??? Shouldn't hVe to rely on headphones. Terrible. The parking lot is a disaster, the roof leaks, owners basically just gave up. Sad. The machines are old and outdated, old school is cool but they need to get with the times. It's also never a consistent temperature, either hot and disgusting and stinks or your hands freeze when you touch a barbell. Just awful, I may just cancel my membership.

So lit. You can't beat this value at $20 a month. There are some bona fide monsters in this gym.
