If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I would. do not use this place. The person is a scammer a liar. My son slid it in the snow and tapped crosswalk pole. He called the police. The police man asked if he wanted to drive it home or have it towed and due to him not feeling safe he had it towed and said he would pick it up in the morning well this guy refused to give us the car back telling us we had to get $2200 in repairs before it could be drivable. It had a flat tire. He wanted to charge $483 to tow it 15 miles instead of just putting air in the tire so I told him I would call AAA for my son and have it towed. He had it on his flatbed and refused to drop it after paying $300 for him to release it to us. he’s friends with the AAA driver and called him and told him not to come tow the car. I had to call the police department on him to get my car dropped off of his tow truck when I called in the morning the first thing he talked about, an insurance claim!!! I never do reviews but I feel I really have to do a review on this one. I mean the guy has an F with the Better Business Bureau. He also tried to argue with me, telling me the car is not drivable he had to peel it away from the pole!!! as soon as we finally got the car back it is 100% drivable just needs air in the tire!!! I had to call the police to get my sons car dropped!!!……….UPDATE…..after putting air in tire…the car is driving…after putting JUST AIR in the tire…after 2 days…THE TIRE STILL HAS AIR….so tell me how from 2:30 am to 8:30 am it went. FLAT… Common sense says TOM LET THE AIR OUF THE TIRE… And how are you gonna tell me that the car needs $2200 and damage when it was never taken off of the flatbed to be looked at. The only thing he was focused on fixing the bodywork!!!!!!!

Not even sure where to start.A small bodywork job he promised would be done in a little over a week took more than 2 month. Every week there was a changed date and not even an exact date but an “estimated” date. The shop with just looking at it you can tell it’s not organized or big enough to do body work.He hates getting questioned as to why things are taking so long & he is not steady with keeping in contact to update the customer.When I got my car back the paint did not match, the motor started making a ticking noise on top of that he left the car without coolant & oil .. when it had all that prior to bringing to the shop.Would never recommend for any of my family and friends. I would want them to have a safe and stress free time when dealing with a car repair.I also called once to get an update and told him he needed to give me a date because i needed my car back, & he hung up & told me he went to do his lawn that say since I was rushing him.He wants to take as much as he can from insurances & will also ask for a deductible before car is done. Which he cannot do stated by insurance.Horrible horrible. He will sit there and down talk all the other dealerships but i have never dealt with service like this one.I rather wait longer if needed at a professional dealership/ auto repair place.To top it off he worked on my hood & now my wipers wont open & hit the hood when trying to bring them up.

Definitely not a body repair shop , this guy took 2 months just to fix a headligh and a front bumper , he kept asking for more and more money to the car insurance, he's rude and very unprofessional, he might be good only on towing but NOT on body repair, don't let Yung girls work with this guy he will make feel really uncomfortable , He will never ever touch one of are cars ever again

Incredibly rude and overcharged. Made up some b.s. story that he could not drop it off the trailer. For whatever reason. My wife and three kids could not afford this extreme discount on top of a broken car. Thanks ALOT you guys suck. Scamartist.

Outstanding service!! Tom was professional and knowledgeable, he towed my Volvo when I managed to bust my oil pan at night in the cold, gave me more than fair prices on the parts and labor, and had my car back in just a few days!Will most definitely use again. I called to have our 26’ box truck pulled out from a very difficult position (off the road and between trees)—Tom quoted me a fair price and stuck by his verbal commitment—to “not adjust the price and get the job done”. And get the job done he did, he patiently waited for our crew to unload the truck and was able to successfully get us out. He could have easily tried to back out of the initial price but he didn’t—a true professional and held to his word. I’d welcome the opportunity to work with him again (just under different circumstances of course.) Thank you Tom!

I have some pros and cons about crystal auto. Tom is a very nice guy, promised he would use only new parts On my car. That was a plus.On the bad side, he had my car for literally a month, and when I got it back it still wasn’t completely fixed. The outside looked fine, but as I drove it I noticed a ticking when I braked. I wish I could post a photo, my caliper and my brakes were not connected because there was no bolt holding it in place. Not happy at all because I could’ve had my brakes fail while I was driving and he didn’t notice..

on of the guys came out the Jewett city last night because I locked my keys in the truck he was so quick and was just amazing. while everyone other company bailed last night and was pulling out chains nope he came thank u so much for coming to save our freezing butts.

Worse place to have your vehicle towed to, Tom is money hungry and deserves to be put out of business for Unprofessionalism and Lying to Insurance Companies to get more money, He has my car being held hostage, I was willing to pay the towing & Storage charges, But, no, he wants to charge his hidden Admin Fee of $175, as well, But, This came after finding out, I didn’t agree to him fixing my car, now he’s bitter and honestly O- Deeing with his foolishness, Stay clear of this Tom character, A total Hoax!!!

The men at Crystal Auto Inc are amazing they changed my windshield wiper motor and replaced it for me and didn’t charge me anything. Very quick and professional. Which is awesome because I don’t have a lot of money. So blessed, thank you so much!!:)

Excellent Service. Great experience. I broke down in the middle of the road late at night. Called roadside assistance and Tom was there to tow me home in 30 minutes. On a cold night in the middle of nowhere he was a lifesaver.

My tires were cut on July 4th and I needed a tow. When all the other tow companies in the area were too busy, they came right out and got my vehicle to to repair shop. Prompt, punctual and curtious. Highly recommended

My wife got stranded for a couple hrs i went picked her and the kids up and went and waited with the car after i dropped them at home and after hrs of waiting for insurance to get a hold of a tow company to respond i called crystal auto and while he was super busy during my call he still made it to my location from where he was within 45min. That was a few yrs ago now tonight my sister inlaw was stranded at the elementary school and nothing i could do to safely get the vehicle home so i told her and my mother to call crystal auto and they were there picking up the car within 20min. Deffinately my go to for a tow and will always recommend this company to whoever i know needs a good reliable tow

Would give negative if able to. Had car for months, numerous excuses and lies. Crappy repair passenger door does not shut correctly, windshield so smeared with dirt could not see the crack until home and cleaned. Charged an additional for repairs. Threats of selling car if not paid. Numerous complaints and dissatisfied customers on yelp and other websites. Also check with BBB his score is F

First i would like to start off by thanking Crystal auto inc and the reason I gave them 5 stars which they truly deserve. I’m going home from Rhode Island back to Waterbury . I’m traveling on route 2 when I have car issues I pull over car dies I’m in colchester I calll my insurance because I have 24 hr roadside assistance. I call around 8:00 they got back to me a hr later they got somebody so wait for for the text back for the info I waited another hr now 2 hrs gone by dark cold tired my Jeep totally died no hazards I get a call from roadside service Asking if anybody text me I say yes 1 hr ago be here 40 min but it’s been a hr nobody. Lady tells me I’ll call to check on status no answer from the first company she calls back I’m heated now it’s about 10:30 she tries calling other tow companies she finds one Crystal auto inc owner Tom calls to verify service tells me he will be there at time he said and sure enough he was not only on time he was very very professional, courteous, and suggested possible issues with the Jeep and on top of all that he was to drive me mind you out of service area from Colchester to Waterbury 55 miles without no issues Tom I want thank you again prompt service great service if I ever need you again I won’t hesitate to call you awesome service again overall I got home about 1:00 am but safely without problems highly recommending Crystal Tow Inc go #32 thanks again Tom I’m a very satisfied customer.
