I was excited to check this place out because of so many good reviews, but I was disappointed. I'm a succulent/cactus person and they had some cool stuff in there at first glance, but half to two thirds of the store was either not for sale or marked as sold. Everything I was interested in wasn't for sale, of course. Otherwise, the selection was very limited.

I absolutely adore Southwest Gardens. I have amazing, beautiful plants from here and never had a single issue. Everything is growing wonderfully! They have so many unique plants and incredible level of care.

This nursery has a truly amazing selection of succulents! Unbelievable prices for unique species of plants unavailable at most nurseries in the state make this local business a must visit if you are looking for something truly exotic, and a knowledge staff and owner seem more than glad to help!

Better selection than anywhere I’ve found! I’ve got 3 different jade varieties from them, each amazing and have propagated well when planting the trimmings. Cheers!

Cary was so very kind to us when we came in 5 minutes before close. He was happy to help us find the plants we were looking for and even showed us some of his private collection of ultra rare succulents and cacti etc. As a horticulturalist I can say that Southwest gardens is one of the nicest nursery’s I’ve been to and all of the plants are extremely healthy and high quality. Amazing operation and thank you so much for all the help and kindness as well! We will be back!

We stopped by today and we’re delighted with our purchase. The house plant selection in the middle of winter was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they could educate us on our plants without any kind of judgement attached. It was everything we were looking for in a local shop. I hope to see them thrive as a small business

Breathtaking variety and size of cacti; huge variety of succulents and other exotic plants.A real gem tucked away in shady residentials. Very caring and knowledgeable staff, even stayed late to answer questions and make sure I was set to care for my cacti.

Wow what an awesome selection of agave! Found a cold hardy agave I've been searching for awhile - and prices were so affordable. Will be back again soon for more!
