This review is for the Walmart on 93rd and Sheridan in Westminster CO. Went there today and bought 8 items. ALL 8 of the self checkout lines were closed except for 2 that were regular checkout lines that had been converted to self checkout, meaning they looked just like the regular checkout lines with a conveyor belt and scanner, just no checkout person. There was a line of literally 22 people waiting to check out, that all had less than 15 items. I asked the Walmart employee "Why don't you open those self checkout lanes? All of us have less than 15 items." She said it was now Walmart corporate policy to keep them closed. Which makes sense because why would you make it any more convenient and speedy for your customers to be able to get in and out if they are in a hurry? And if you're not going to open them up, then why wouldn't they open a few more of the regular checkout lines? There were only 3 open and they were backed up with at least 10 people in each line. This is not the only Walmart that is doing it, the one on 72nd and Sheridan is doing the same thing. Nothing against the employees, but the manager should see how much longer it takes to pay for your groceries and open up some of the self checkout lines, or open more regular checkout lines to help get customers out of there faster. Do they not realize that we have buzy lives and need all the extra time we can get? Standing in line for 20 minutes, when it took less than 5 minutes to do my shopping, is totally ridiculous. Hopefully management will do something about it, if not, then I'm sure Safeway and King Soopers will be happy to accommodate new shoppers!

Not sure why this is the only Walmart this has ever happened to us at, but at this point it’s happened multiple times and Walmart needs to know- stop closing the self check out an hour before you close. We waited, along with probably 100 other people, 30 mins to check out tonight. Walmart- this does NOT make for an effective or pleasant shopping experience and you’re going to burn your employees out faster than you can hire them. Ridiculous.
This Walmart also has a terrible food selection compared to nearby locations. We have found it difficult to complete meals here many times.

The auto services is severely understaffed. I had an appointmentment at 7am and they didn't get me in until after 1pm. I watched them pull multiple vehicles into the shop that arrived after me. Being short staffed is not the problem, I basically begged them all day to tell me if they could complete the service in a timely manner so I could get back to work. They kept saying yes. They then tried to charge me even though I prepaid and it said that on the receipt. Eventually they agreed I had already paid, offered to refund the installation fee because of the hassle, and send me on my way. I got States away the following day and was in the middle of nowhere Utah when I found out they had charged me a second time after I had left the state. Because I had to dispute the charge, they canceled my visa and ordered me a new one to my old address and I was stranded with a $1200 set of tires and no gas or money to get em moving. They have yet to refund me a single dollar weeks later. DO BETTER WOULD YA

The Walmart was understaffed so the lines are long. My cashier was very nice.

This location is very clean and the employees were very friendly, I went later in the evening, 10pm or so and it was pretty busy so I had a hard time finding good parking but other than that it's one of the better Walmart locations.
