After moving to Colorado from California, I chose this vet from some good reviews online, even though it wasn't the closest one to my apartment. I always felt like my dog Bacon was in good hands with his checkups, dental cleaning, blood work, shots, and occasional treatment for illness. My previous vet in California felt a little sales-y and got me to sign up for more than needed, while Sunshine was relaxed and never pushed me into anything unnecessary for my pup. My CA vet always felt behind schedule and rushed as well, while at Sunshine, I feel like I can calmly go over EVERY question I have, which is a lot, without feeling like I need to speed things up so they can get to the next appointment. You can request appointments through their site and get a quick response to schedule a visit. They also send reminders which is nice. Plus you can sync up with Pet Desk for records. Pleasant, sunny staff, from the front desk to the assistants to the vets. Prices were a little more affordable than California, too. They sell prescription food for about the same price as Petsmart, which is often out of stock. Only frustrating thing was when I brought my dog in for a routine exam and brought up a couple stool concerns, they were kind of brushed off as nothing to worry about, then he got super sick a couple weeks later and I had to bring him back for another visit and exam, which felt like it cost me extra for something that they could have gotten out in front of. Other than that hiccup, it's always a nice visit at Sunshine (even though my dog hates walking through those doors every time).

This is the best vet clinic. Have been taking out cat here for a few years. Everyone cares about your pet and it shows. We had our senior check up this week and our cat was relaxed throughout the exam. She usually doesn't like strangers but had no problem with anyone the whole time she was there. I can't say enough good things about this place

We have been taking out cat to this clinic for a few years. All employees are great. They really care about the animals. The vets, nurses and front area staff are kind and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will never switch to another clinic Everyone was very kind. Receptionist got us in a room quickly. Nurse came in for weight and history. Vet followed with a complete checkup. Coral was relaxed around every one which she usually is not. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I've been coming here since my husband and I moved to Colorado a few years ago; I chose Sunshine due to their close proximity to my residence and stellar reviews.This place is amazing! The doctors and overall staff are SO friendly and helpful; they've handled my two cats with all the attentive care and concern I could want as a neurotic animal parent. I only wish they offered boarding services, that's how great they are!I've taken my cats in for emergencies, dental cleanings, X-rays, and regular checkups, and they've made each experience as painless and efficient as possible.You deserve all the love, Sunshine. <3

I took my dogs to Sunshine and they were all so great. Everyone was kind, gentle with my 2 older dogs, and helpful for all questions, including pricing. Gracie was our vet tech and she is awesome :)

Wonderful facility, caring staff, I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet.We put down our other pet here and the attention to detail and patience with our grief was amazing. We felt cared for in all aspects.

Sunshine Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever been to! My dog Howard loves going here! Everyone is so gentle and interactive with him and makes him feel so safe! I can't recommend this place enough!

Dr. Kreutzer was great. Very warm and personable, explained issues and options well. Staff is lovely. We've recently transitioned from another practice that has become more corporate, and appreciate the personal attention and care at Sunshine. Very happy with this practice and recommend strongly.

We picked Sunshine because of the flawless reviews when we moved here and they have truly upheld that standard! No silly questions for this crew and they are so responsive over text as well. My dog loves coming to the vet even though he’s a regular for Cytopoint shots. Says a lot when he associates them more with spray cheese, treats, and pets than a regularly scheduled poke! We love the Sunshine Animal Hospital crew:)

Best veterinary office I’ve ever been to. Front desk staff is so kind, and the nurses are so sweet and accommodating. I need to take my dog to hawaii on short notice and they took extra time to look things up, find forms, and do last minute bloodwork. Looking forward to using them as my new, full-time vet.

This was Winnies first time to receive veterinary care after losing her owner. Everyone on staff was compassionate, professional and attentive. She was a difficult patient, at best. I am thankful for the prompt scheduling of an appointment as she was past due on vaccinations.
