If I could give -10 I would. The manager is a complete jerk. Third time is a charm. Had conversations with locals who have had bad experiences as well as people in the parking lot that said he wouldn't sell donated items to them. I emailed the board of directors and it fell on deaf ears. This ReStore does not support the Mission it set out to achieve. SO disappointing

I think this store is a treasure chest and you never know what you’ll find. Over the years, I’ve not only purchased multiple items for my home (like my couch and some amazing art) but it’s also a great place to donate items. I also love their mission and how they support our local community and families. All the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, so buying here is a win-win!

Terrible experience with older guy. I was courteous and simply asked if a price was negotiable and I got a very rude response. He said “unless you find something wrong we don’t budge on the prices”. So we had purchased some recliners, came to pick them up. I found damage and told the same older guy, hey look here is some damage can you discount some and responded, tough luck, not after you buy it. Very bad experience! I will never shop there again! He even came out and gave me a not with his bosses name on and said if you want to complain about me to contact her. Such a jerk!

I love recycling/reusing, so Habitat is always my first choice when I need something new for a client's property. My first encounter with the manager a few years ago, he required a limerick to receive a small discount. They had one written down and after I recited it, I received the discount. I thought it was in good fun. :) However, when I try to engage with the manager with humor on my regular visits, he looks at me like I'm an idiot. The ladies working are always nice. This location is definitely operated differently from the one in Gypsum. Prices do not drop after an item sits around awhile, and often the prices are too high for used/donated items. The manager stated that he only drops prices when they have too much of a particular item.

Huge location, great location, however the prices are VERY high! $1000 for a light fixture on a used item, that comes up $350 on Amazon, is steep!

Prices are ridiculous….selection is okay but really some stuff hardly sells because prices high and no sales, no Senior discounts……This is not like other habitat stores….I heard the manager chew out employee cause she knocked off $5 off of some item…he told her she does not have authority to do that. So, bravo for her, she snapped back that item had been there for almost a year and she figured better get some $$ than not…..this place needs to operate more like the Avon store….they have nice items, at a high price but they have lots of sales and they do not have to ask if discounted…..They should have sales like all other habitat places……..they have to get with the program.

Corporate ruined it like most anything ! Montrose fired best people last management turn and hiked prices to highest online. Started out awesome now I'll miss this place and actually surprising it's still active

Bought a couch there for $200, I tried to get a better deal because it was ugly and had some stains. They wouldn't budge on the price. When I got it home I found a ton of hair and trash stuffed inside the crack.I went back another time and found a nice fan on a shelf marked $8 or as marked. The fan had no price tag, so I assumed it would be $8. No! They wanted $20.I'm local worker and this place is for the rich, not the locals.Staff is rude.Never going back

If they want to move items, they need to price accordingly. As someone with design experience and knowledge of antiques, textiles, art , I thought the pricing was haphazard and not reflective of other reputable sites.

Great place to shop. Beautiful furniture. Walls of art work. Aisles of kitchen ware, dishes, and books.

I put off going here for so long because of the reviews that said it was overpriced / expensive- but this place is a MUST! We just moved and had no furniture , we were able to furnish our whole place WITH kitchen utensils even. One of the workers even helped us situate things in our car after they had closed. Everyone was so kind!
