I went here on Dec 22, 2023, had reserved a snowboard rental online the night before. When I arrived, nobody was working in the rental area, and I waited there (along with other customers) for at least 20-25min with no assistance. I walked around the store and asked for help, they said someone would be there shortly, but nobody ever came. I waited up at the front register, the employee checked out other customers but didn't help me, even though I made it clear I needed a rental.After waiting for almost an hour with no help in sight, I finally started walking out. While exiting, I ran into an employee and told him my situation, and asked - do I need to do anything to cancel? I'll just get my rental somewhere else. He said "No, it only charges you if the rental is fulfilled. If you don't pick it up, then you won't be charged." So I believed him and went on my way.Well, what do you know? I got stuck with a $182 charge on my credit card. I disputed the charge, and the company had the nerve to push back and say the charge was justified, and the terms of agreement said no refunds. I did not see that written anywhere, and even if it was, that should not include situations where services were not rendered. I waited more than a reasonable amount of time and nobody in the store could help me get a rental.Update: I was contacted by management one day after posting my review and immediately issued a full refund. Sounds like they have new management and were willing to help me. Updating to 3 stars based on responsiveness and refund.

TIM WAS AMAZING! he got me the perfect skis, helmet, and poles! he was absolutely hilarious and perfect. i will definitely be coming back here next time i go skiing. i love u tim!

For a change we decided to rent our kid’s snowboards outside of Keystone Resort. The prices were great. And it’s right off the freeway. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time for online rate and to have your confirmation ready. We had difficulties finding our reservation in our emails. Robert was working the busy morning shift and even though there was a line he was so chill, helpful and kind throughout the whole fitting and checkout process. Thanks Robert! You made our stressful morning less stressful!!

The service here was amazing. Tim and Becky were extremely helpful and gave us great advice for our ski trip. Both of them were incredibly patient with our questions while simultaneously efficient with our rentals! Definitely will be renting from here again.

I visited Mountain Sports Outlet on 29 FEB and Tim assisted my son and I. Tim took time to answer our questions, inquire about our snowboarding needs, and our skill level. He offered great recommendations on boots, boards, and bindings. Tim also helped us wit rental equipment. I will recommend Mountain Sports Outlet to anyone in the area interested in purchasing/renting equipment. Outstanding customer service!

Tim was so helpful. He showed me a huge selection of snowboards and jackets. This shop has got the best selection in all of Summit County. I would recommend this place anyone looking for snowboard or ski gear.

Great selection and staff. I want to call out Tim for exceptional service. We spent approximately 1 1/2 hours trying on many different snowboard boots. Tim was helping 2 people at a time and somehow still provided great service and information. Very patient and informative. Also, he pointed me to the best boot for me, not just the most expensive. This is the place to get your boots!

Robert (assistant manager) was extremely knowledgeable about the different snowboard boots and bindings. Explained the the features very well and the different price points which helped make a well informed purchase.
