Wanted over a dollar more per gallon than the “local” gas company to fill a 500 gallon tank. DO YOUR RESEARCH unless you enjoy wasting your hard earned money. Now their tank sits in my yard and no one will come pick it up after two calls in.

The only reason I use them is because they bought Mar gas. Twice now they have charged me hidden fees without notice or any kind of agreement. And instead of calling or stating that they are charging me I receive a letter from a collection service. And to top it all; their customer service is outsourced to a call center that can do absolutely nothing but waste your time.

We switched to San Isable. We have been tying for over 6 months for them to pick up their tank. We still have the tank.

I've had just two deliveries made and in both instances I have had to call / followup *multiple* times to get the propane delivered. In the second instance I was initially promised a delivery date, which was missed / not communicated it would be missed and we ran out of propane. The reliability of deliveries is atrocious, and I ultimately signed up for auto fill which I didn't want to do so I could better control the pricing but had so little faith on the call in for a delivery option I had no other choice. Actively searching for replacement options at this point.

For the third time, Amerigas gives us a delivery deadline date, and doesn't honor it. They told us they would deliver by Januray 20th, it is now February 2nd and no propane. Customer service is outsourced to another country who tries to tell me I still have 5 days of propane?????? No I don't, because tomorrow is Friday, so come Monday we will be on fumes!! This is bad business! How are they not bankrupt yet?? Looks like it's time for a new propane company.

It's now below freezing and the delivery we requested 2 weeks ago is not here. We have called every single day, and can't even get somebody from America to talk to and are told the same thing every single day. I encourage more people to go to the news because I've already talked to KRDO.

I am not sure what is happening in the customer service center but I am out of propane but the website reads that my tank is at 77%! I have called multiple times since 12/16 when my delivery date came and went. I started at 20% 12/9 when I ordered. Called when I was down to 15% and noticed the website was expedited delivery” but read 80%. I called and updated to 10% and for 2 days it show 10% with 230 gallons in a 250 gallon take. I called again to see why it reads like that and rechecked the website today and it reads I have 77% but my tank is completely empty and they are closed at customer service so I can’t update it until tomorrow. There is no amerigas office at the physical address listed in Pueblo. I tried to stop by to try to straighten this out. Hopefully someone looks at this review and hears me say my tank is empty NOT 77%!

We were given updates on status of delivery from order start process to delivery made. Delivery was made before we hit the 20% which was nice. We did not have to worry about running out of propane.

When we got notice of your special promotion for a winter fill up - 240 gal. and up, with a $100 rebate, we ordered 240 gallons. On 3/23/2023, 344.8 gallons were delivered. We let that pass, even though we hadn't wanted that many gallons at that time because of the large amount of money we would have to pay. However, we did pay the invoice amount of $852.72 on April 14, 2023. We are still waiting for our $100 rebate!Mr. and Mrs. Fred Laher

We recently tried to call AmeriGas with a question related to how far away a fire pit needs to be from our tank to be in compliance with safety regulations. We wanted to do this because recently Amerigas made us relocate our tank from its original location because it was too close to a structure…and had been for the 8 years we had been living here and prior to our purchasing our home, but no one said anything until this past year. Not wanting to chance anything we decided to call and get a definite answer. I called multiple times and no one understood my question or could provide an answer. The first time I called I was redirected three different times and ended up on the line with someone from Angie’s list who still could not provide an answer and was trying to get me to hire a contractor to build the pit, which we were doing ourselves. The second time I called the lady was unable to understand my question and thought I wanted AmeriGas to build the fire pit, and when I tried to clarify she hung up on me. The fourth time I called i was disconnected after being put on hold. The fifth time I was put on hold for ten minutes and then the lady I was speaking to needed to clarify that I wanted AmeriGas to “move the propane tank to make room for a fire tank”. (I don’t know what a fire tank is). I clarified again that I only wanted to know how far a fire pit that WE were installing needed to be from the tank to be in compliance with safety regulations she finally gave me what she thought was the answer (10 ft), but she unsure if this was correct as it is the answer for a structure and not an open flame. My husband and I decided to just stop by the nearest local office. We stopped by on a weekday during business hours. Turns out the nearest office is just an empty building with a staging lot. He then decided to call himself and clarified that he wanted to know the NFPA (national fire protection agency) code for installing a fire pit near a propane tank. He was redirected to someone who understood what we were saying, and we were told she needed to look into it and would call us back within 24 hours. We never received a phone call and we still don’t have a definite answer to our question.

Customer service is horrible. No one ever gets back to me about my questions. I've been waiting 18 months for a response.

I just thank God for what your driver's and everyone in your company does .. I mean your drivers work 60 to 70 hours a week they really sacrifice a lot !!!one of the drivers that came out late to fix a leak Bob was his Name he was 70 years old rolling 70 hours a week God bless that man I'm 40 and only work 40 hours a week and I get 3 day weekends I mean I almost feel guilty ... God bless and there are better days on the horizon in the Mighty Name of Jesus ?

Basically they make you prepay for the propane and then they do not deliver it even when you plead with them for a delivery because you have run out. We have gone through this with them since last december. We are now using electric heaters and not bathing because we have a propane boiler. We are old and freezing in our home because of these people

I have had problems with Margas in the past, but in the last year or two they have done much, much better. Today I reported a leak and ordered gas. James came to take care of both problems and did an excellent job. Margas is night and day different compared to the past. They are now efficient and quick to respond. I have zero complaints about Margas these days and can recommend them happily.

Absolutely horrible business to deal with. We called for a delivery and after 14days started calling customer service. They could not tel us when we would get a delivery. We expedited this delivery and still didn’t receive propane. We will be canceling the service with Amerigas. I would highly suggest for anyone looking for a new service to look elsewhere. Find a local company. Very frustrating having to talk to foreigner that does not care about the situation.
