I came here to park in the free parking lot and fish the gunnison, nice easy river access and clean parking lot just be mindful not to park in the camp area if you’re just there to fish

Great fishing, great guides and management to see that you have a great experience in the Canyon and lower river. Only permitted jet boat to get you up to your dorys in the canyon. A world class experience. We had a great guided experience with Kelly. I have fished the world over and he ranks as a top guide anywhere!

My son, Jon, and I had a great time on this trip. Our guide, Tyler, was extremely good. Water was quite high which effected the fishing but we learned a lot about the sport of fly fishing. I would highly recommend Gunnison River Expeditions.

The experience of a lifetime! From the moment we started our trip to the end we were in awe! The changing elevation provides different experiences as you go downriver from majestic cottonwoods to amazing cliffs with waterfalls cascading into the river. The wildlife sighting begins with the impressive Blue Heron, various species of Duck & Osprey! Who knew! The deer begin to appear further down as well as a baby fawn at the river edge. We were so excited to see mother and baby otters , wild turkeys and mother and baby Geese! I could go on! Thank you Steve for the magical trip down the river! Pleasure Park is a special place and we can’t wait for our next adventure!

There are covered picnic tables for families and great views of the Northfork of the Gunnison river, and easy crossing to fish the Gunnison river in the Gunnison Gorge. There are restrooms available. Gunnison River Expeditions is also at Pleasure Park, and they have rental cabins, snacks, and a full service fly shop.
