“I’ve been a Safeway person for a long time but prices are just getting out of control so I figured I’d try this place out. I got my normal stuff plus some and spent literally half of what I usually do. It felt really good to not scrimp out on how much I was getting. The store is clean and friendly and it was relatively easy to find everything! Definitely my new go to grocery store.”

“I had no idea that this store was here. For someone who has memories associated with this "downtown" area for 60+ years, I thought the interiors of the store was beautiful, but you should sue whoever talked you into signing this lease. The area has been overtaken by crime,gangs and a sprinkling of immigrant shops. No one goes downtown anymore unless they are going to the courthouse. They fast talk you corporate people who do not know the area. I owned a pet shop not far from you. It was in a1908 house. I'd look out west to compete with the other health store. I don't think you will have enough traffic to support this beautiful store. Yes some college students are near but you need to be out hwy 34 by bed bath and beyond. Good Luck!”

“I love the new Dollar General! It's so clean and it's so easy to find what I'm looking for. I love the new products; better quality than they used to be. The food section is more complete with a wide variety of products. The prices are still low, but you don't feel like you're buying cheap products. My only complaint is that they no longer carry pajama bottoms. I've been buying them for years at Dollar General, but now I'll have to go somewhere else for them. I've moved across town and there are Dollar Generals closer to me, but I will always drive over to the 8th Avenue store because April and the store make it worth it!”

“My family enjoys grocery shopping. The idea of convenience and layout never seem to work for everyone. This store is always updating or moving items in store for demographics. The best solution is take your time. Employers have a hard time with employees who deal directly with the public. People can be rude and obnoxious. But, the Safeway team needs to realize not everyone is the same. The younger ones need to learn some real lessons about how to deal with customers or store policies. Remember, those people purchasing items pay your salary. So get off your phones and help out once in a while. That goes for obnoxious customers as well.”

My dad is alway on the computer because people need help and he helping them and he do not have time for us. I love my parent if you are complaining you should not because it not your store and you don't have to work so hard. My parent work there for 8 years! “This seems like an early review, but Carneceria La Preferida could quickly become my favorite store of its type. The people are so friendly from meat side to check out. The meat has always been fresh, great quality, and now enjoying the chorizo for lunch. Plenty of basics, sauce, dried beans, fresh jalapeños, beverages, produce, etc and a big plus, whole wheat tortillas made locally. I hope business grows quickly as all the right features of a budding successful business are presented here.”

“I got 3 carne asada tacos, carne asada fries, and tres leches cake, all of it was amazing! I do wish the meat portion on the tacos was a bit more, but it was fine the way it was. The cake was perfect and the fries had their own hot sauce, that was amazing too.”

“It's strange the picture shown has the type of shoes I wear not the size. But I always have my wedding ring on. I always use the best gas they offer. Someone stole my fuel points. However, King Soopers is a real stand up top management. They understood I was ?, and went above great service. Fixed the situation, even refunded my points. I tend to be a bit feisty and whoever stole my points karma ? is alive!!”

“Had enough points to get $0.⁷⁰ off a gallon. If you can plan to fill up there when you're almost empty and you buy a lot of stuff from King Soopers anyway (i.e. you rack up points) it's really a good discount. When I was looking for a gas station near me randomly the others (on Google maps) were priced at $3.70. This King Soopers was $2.59 (before my discount); BUT it could have been cheaper because I got regular unleaded and not mid-grade).”

I go out of my way to go to this store because of the meat department because of the quality and variety. Hate the parking lot but definitely not the worst.”

“Been going to Walgreens for 7 years. They will send you an email telling you a prescription is ready. You get there. Wait 2 hours in line to get. Told to come back in an hour. We had to quit using them. Couldn't handle the time involved. We have been going to this pharmacy for about 3 months and we'd love them if there's a line. They still rush you through it. I have never waited. Hardly anytime. Anyplace you go is going to be busy but these people treat you like a human being. I have nothing but very good to say for them. Anyone who doesn't should try Walgreens. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work”
