I called to see if they delivered to our area, Glade Park Colorado. I got someone in the Philippines who claimed his name is "Ceff", and refuse to provide a last name or an ID number so I could document who I was speaking with. He laughed when I asked to speak with a supervisor. After waiting on hold for 40 Forevers, I got a supervisor who told me that she couldn't give me the answer to the question unless I set up an account. I told her I don't want to set up an account unless they deliver to our area. She said only the sales people know the answer to that question, and had no idea the the United States is divided up into four time zones, telling me that the sales office was open during our call even though it was not 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Pathetic customer service.

UPDATE: Still a JOKE!Some one reached out to me they had someone finally come back out. They had the wrong valve and would come back this week. Again, another no call no show.This place is a JOKE!They came out once, said we had a bad valve and would come back out to replace it. We had to call to see when they would be back out and they said it would be next week. NO SHOW. Got in contact with a guy said he was out of town and would be out the following week to do the work. NO SHOW. Now we have tried calling and no one will return our call.

I ordered Propane I had 40% in my tank the driver said I was at 0% and filled my tank. He said he put 201.5 gal in that's impossible my tank is 250gal. I talked to 5 supervisors basicly they all said the driver was right and I was wrong so you all took 1027 dollars out of my account. I think this is totally wrong. If you look at my past history of ordering Propane I always reorder between 30 and 40% so the best he could of put in my tank was a little over 100 gal. So I figure you owe me about half of 1027.00 back. Could you please fix this. Terry Steckler

My deliveries are always late and never within the estimated time frame that you provide. I always have to call back time and time again to get my delivery before i run out..Im going tk be switching to another provider starting next winter, your service has become unreliable..

DO NOT use them.. We missed scheduled deliveries back in December and was out of heat for TWO weeks. I called customer service everyday with no answer on delivery. Then ran out again in January. Had to purchase several portable electric heaters for office and still having mechanical issues with boiler. AND NOW THEY BILL ME A 36.00 "LATE FEE" FOR A PAYMENT!

So absolutely disappointed. Had a delivery cancelled 2 months ago due to their truck breaking down and never got rescheduled. Were told they would call us back. That never happened. Had multiple family emergencies that took me out of town and returned on Sunday to realize we were out of gas. Called on Monday morning when we realized we were empty and was supposedly going to get an emergency delivery in 24hours that got pushed back to 72 hours. Still waiting and we are on day 5! Can’t even begin to describe how horrible it is to be without gas. Thank god we have a pellet stove (without it we would be dealing with much worse). They act like they care and that they are taking our situation seriously. At this point it just seems like a lot of lies being told to placate us. I have documentation that they had a promised delivery by Thursday and did not deliver!!! My husband is on the phone with a supervisor and we are once again getting the run around that they “may be able to put us on the delivery list today”. This is after we were promised an emergency delivery last night or this morning by another “supervisor” yesterday. My advice is find another provider while you can. We have called around and everyone is booked out for 2 weeks.

Made an order for delivery on Dec 25, 2022, and was given an expected delivery date of January 2, 2023. No Delivery occurred. made 2 calls to customer service and was now told delivery date of January 10, 2023. No Delivery Occurred. I have no way of contacting local delivery center as new phone system goes to call center. On January 11, 2023 I again attempted to contact through chat bot on website with no success. provided a number to a supervisor. At this time no resolution.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I put in for a request to have propane delivered to my home Oct 22 was suppose to be delivered within a few days of that. Well never got delivered ran out of propane was out for 3 days. Tried and tried to get someone out to fill out tank finally after 3 days of trying to get someone out here to fill we got propane late after hours. Vivian was the only customer service representative that actually called a driver to get them out to our house. Every customer service representative before her including supervisor Jay failed to provide the proper customer support. I will be looking into a different service provider and returning my tank after this horrible experience in freezing temperatures.

Over the weekend we needed to exchange propane tanks. We went to four different stores that featured exchanges. NONE of them had any full tanks. They all said that they hadn't seen Amerigas bring a delivery for a few WEEKS.Come on guys - this is your easiest money maker - just do your route and exchange the tanks at these vendors!

I WOULD NOT EVEN LEAVE ONE STAR IF POSSIBLE, my mom is 85yrs old and lives in the suburbs and her heat runs on propane, she and I have been trying to set up a delivery for over a month, and has set delivery up 10 different times and they have been a NO SHOW, SHAME ON YOU THIS IS ELDER ABUSE, we will look for a different company on Monday!!!!!!!!!

If you have any choice at all, RUN from Amerigas. If it were possible to give zero or negative stars, I would do so. This has been the absolute worst customer service experience I have EVER had. Really! Seriously, these folks make cable providers look like five-star companies. It is no longer possible to call the local office and deal with someone who actually knows the area and might even know you. All calls are routed to call centers staffed with personnel who are unable to handle anything more complex than a "fill the tank" order. Often, it is clear that English is not their primary language and they simply do not understand what I am trying to tell them or ask for. I have spent literally hours on the phone attempting to make simple changes to my account. I have been disconnected multiple times, referred to alternative numbers that make no difference and handed off to others who are equally unable to help. It is an exercise in continuous frustration. As we allow more companies to hold virtual monopolies this is the future we will face more and more. I can't wait to sell the property Amerigas serves just so I can be done with them!

Called the local number, got some guy in Cleveland who barely spoke English. I asked how to get ahold of the local office he says to try the number again! I told him that wouldn't make sense, that's how I got HIM. He hung up on me. Business=elsewhere.

Horrible. Got a call center, they will not let you talk to anyone locally. My needs were not great enough for them to provide me service. Really bad example of how "centralizing" ruins every thing. Willing to bet they were just taken over by and Ivy League MBA. Really terrible customer service.
