I was very impressed with the speediness of the staff at the Grand Junction America’s Best location! I was in and out for a full comprehensive eye exam as well as a contact & glasses prescription in under an hour. Shoutout to Cristina, who was especially kind & rapidly executed all the general eye tests!

I went in yesterday with a couple general questions and while they were busy, Shadow helped tremendously with my questions while maintaining business with everyone professionally. The GM Ashley was also helpful in the times Shadow was unavailable. I highly recommend this business even if it's just to stop in for a couple questions. Staff is wonderful and prices are reasonable. I would give 10/10 stars if I could.

Horrible service. Got glasses and they didn’t fit and don’t work on my face. The entire time I was shopping the people were talking inappropriately about personal things. I had my glasses sent to me in the mail. Then I called to ask about a refund because the glasses don’t work like I can’t see out of them, and they are making me drive 2 hours to sign a piece of paper to get my refund. And they refused to send me a copy of my receipt. Waste of time. Trashy place that won’t accommodate people.

We drove three hours from a rural town, picked out glasses and were told we'd have to come back another day or wait several hours. Apparently if you don't see the eye doctor here you must wait several hours to buy even if there's no one waiting to be checked out. Because the scheduled appointment who was not in the building might come and they would be helped first.

So impressed with the fantastic customer service that the Grand Junction's store Colorado District Manager Kelly provided. The most impressive detail: she completely understood when the prescription I brought from Pearle vision was too strong for my astigmatism. Even though it wasn't a mistake by her own store, she allowed me to return the two pair of glasses and reboot the whole order, giving me the option of extra time past the 30 day exchange window because I was in an out of town in June and July.Additionally, Alyssa and Alex and the store manager Ashley in this GJ store were patient, involved and professional. I have been a customer for years and never more grateful than this time when even the smallest of details were considered and addressed. Thanks to all of you for going out of your way to ensure I received the best customer service ever!

I had a fantastic experience this summer - and actually have been a happy customer for a number of years, including bringing my elderly Mom in for glasses as well.There were a few glitches that were immediately addressed and resolved by the District Manager, Kelly who is based on the eastern slope. Even though the most perplexing issue was a mistake by Pearle Vision with a prescription that was too strong for my astigmatism, she completely understood and replaced two pair of glasses immediately and without question. She potentially would have allowed the exchange past the 30 day window because my schedule was very hectic with out of town travel. America's Best is very fortunate to have such a caring and customer service oriented manager who was willing to personally assist me.I had wonderful service from 3 staff members in the store: the store manager, Ashley, Alyssa and Alex (triple As!) and very much appreciated being treated with such professional and involved care. Thank you all!

Went in the store today to have 2 pairs of glasses that I just bought, they fell apart. The 1 lady that helped me was very nice. She needed help with the repairs, she asked for help and was rudely responded by "SHADOW" too bad I'm busy. So they just dropped me! I was to wait until an employee came back from lunch! What??!!! The girl that came back from lunch was rude also!! I won't return or recommend anyone to you're business! I refuse to be treated that way! I really like the optometrist too bad you lost a customer for him!

Been a fan of this company for the most part. They are not accommodating to situations, was told that if you are 5 mins late they cancel it, then I get a text after I leave that 15 mins after it is cancelled. Every where else in town will allow you to get a trial pair of contacts as long as you have an appointment. I called to verify this with 3 different facilities. Prices are good, but would enjoy them to work with their clients that have actually been with them for many years.

Went in on my lunch break to order contacts and get my glasses tightened. It was such a quick trip in and out less than 30 minutes. Aaron made the visit so pleasant. Out of all the employees I've encountered there, he was full of compliments and conversation to make the visit seem to go even faster.

I bought two pairs of glasses at a hefty $732 even after a coupon discount. When I got home I realized there were two charges for $49.95 for a one-year lens warranty I didn't want. I asked about it when I went in to have the glasses adjusted - slipping off my nose and too tight on one ear - I was told there were obligatory for one because it was a frameless design and for the other because the lenses were tinted. It seems another way to up the price.

They did their job for the most part. I wish my rgp lenses had been fitted to my eyes prior to wearing them daily (one contact fell out the 2nd day). $94 down the drain. Nothing is really done with any friendliness. I felt like I was "bothering" them. Unlikely that I'd return.

I’ve had nothing but troubles at this place! For my birthday I bought brand new glasses for myself. When they arrived in the mail they weren’t my prescription, I couldn’t see out of them. There’s only ONE doctor once a month so I needed to wait to schedule. Scheduled an appointment months in advanced to fix my glasses and they sent a text canceling saying the doctor couldn’t come in.. I live about 45 minutes away from this place & was hard to get back INTO the schedule. Later when I finally got to come in the Dr. told me I only have 45 days to let them know about the problem & said I would need to pay them more money!! (Never told me that policy) I’ve never even wore the glasses before & now I have glasses that I can’t see out of. They let me walk out without helping me. I paid so much money for these glasses & I will not be returning. Do better yall..

1 star is too much credit. This place is a joke. Front desk lady didn’t even look up to acknowledge my presence. Extremely unwelcoming. Watched her tighten another ladies glasses and when I asked her if she could do mine she said someone else would after my appointment. Cuz she was so busy? I just watched her tighten the other ladies. I bought these glasses here! There was only one customer in there and she wasn’t even helping him. THEN 30 mins after my appointment I was told the Dr was running late from lunch and they had no idea when he would be in. Been a loyal customer for over 10yrs. I will never step foot in this place again.
