Property is great for college drop off or experiencing Golden. But hotel is a bit aged and rooms are far from resort status. Breakfast was full of good, healthy choices.

We did a wedding block here, and they were easy to work with. My guests loved the location. I didn’t hear any complaints about rooms, service, etc. minus a barking dog in someone else’s room. The lobby is nice.

Great for crawling kids, thehallwaycarpeted hallway that is usually quiet during the evening. Good place to let a young one explore. The free flavored water was always a treat. The pool is NOT warm, not so good for small kids. Close to everything you need.

The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Kudos to housekeeping. But the rooms and hallways are in dire need of updating and renovation. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Rooms are outdated and not up to par with the Marriott brand. Especially when charging $250+ a night. WiFi was broken. Staff were great and professional.

Front desk person was incredibly rude. Horrible customer service. They only way to get food is to room service, which then you have to pay the delivery fee.
We asked a question to the front desk about our order, because we wanted to eat in the lobby. The front desk guy was so rude!!! We only had to stay here for a wedding, we will never stay here again

The service and quality you expect from the best Marriotts. The food was very good, service at the bar was also very good. The only part of my stay that was just a little less than excellent was the shower. There was an issue with water pressure and the temperature fluctuated pretty significantly. Speaking with my team, this happened to others as well. Still overall excellent stay.

The hotel is fine. Room was clean enough and the location was close for Red Rocks. The hotel policy related to early check in compelled me to leave a review in hopes that Marriott corporate will review what local management is doing. Upon arrival in the morning, I inquired at the front desk as I've done hundreds of times before as a Marriott Platinum member about checking in once a room is available vs waiting until 4pm. I was advised that 'management' recently changed the policy and there would be a $50 charge to check in the morning. Here's my issue. The room is either ready or it isn't. I'll gladly step aside, get some lunch, and come back at check in time. I've done that countless times. But if it's ready, what's with the junk fee of $50 for the privilege of checking in early? Will not be staying here again.

Great facility for a conference. Not much in the way as food.

The good: It is close to some shopping and good restaurants. The hotel has a nice lobby, a restaurant, a conference center, and both an indoor and outdoor pool.
The bad: The hotel is located about 15 minutes from downtown Golden and not that close to anything else. The rooms are quite dated, and the bed is super uncomfortable. The service was mediocre. The front desk staff didn't know the area and couldn't offer much for recommendations or directions.
Rooms: Old, and in need of a renovation. The bed is probably the worst I can remember sleeping in.
Nearby activities: Not much. It's 20 minutes from downtown Gilden and further to any else. The frint desk staff couldn't offer much help with suggestions or directions. We were told they weren't really concierge staff, were new, and didn't live in the area.
