Gas was a hair high. Store felt cramped but the service was good. Apparently the donut shop is amazing. But we didn't make it in time.

Automatic shut off on gasoline pump nozzles don’t work. HOW can they ALL be BROKEN? Very messy & dangerous. You will track gasoline soaked kitty litter into your car.

The fruita gas station has great customer service and I love going here, except there is two big problems. Number one, is that there is no slower pumps in town. They told me this is because they like to let their reserves get low before filling up and the filters are clogged. I understand this and normally just sit and kick my feet on the tailgate waiting patiently. The second is that the handles won't shut off on their own. Therefore twice it has over filled down the side of my truck and on me so I go home smelling like fuel. They told me this is also because the filters in the pumps are clogged but this has been going on for months. This makes me curious if there is so much sediment going through that they have to replace them often, or they don't replace them enough and sediment may get past them to my tank.
