I had to come get gas. I arrived at 2:28 and a sign was on the door saying “Closed for 30 minute lunch”. After waiting for 11 minutes since I had not been giving a time in which the person would return and it stood to reason it would be at the half hour mark, the short female clerk with dark hair and glasses came out and very rudely said, “Sweetie, I just clocked out. I just put that sign up. I’m not coming back for a half hour.” I informed her I had been out here for 11 minutes, and she stated she had been in the bathroom. I told her in the future it would help to put a return time for these instances as it would behoove the situation for everyone involved. It wasn’t taken with appreciative reciprocity, but I did interrupt her lunch, after all.

I really like Safeway. Got my groceries and was told I have 50 cents per gallon savings. I get to the pump and it's a .30 savings. And no matter how many times I try I can't use my phone to pay at the pump. It is the only location that my phone does not work to do so. I've tried multiple pumps.

Most of the time, everything works fine and the gas flows at a good pace. I have come across a bad nozzle, but that isn't unexpected from busy stations.

Not sure why I'm reviewing a gas station but here it is... Usually friendly staff, and they generally have gas when I need it. Good stuff. ?

They should have better microwave breakfast and lunch items for those of us on the go. Staff are always brilliantly kind.
