The Rocky Mountain Surgery Center and Dr. Reister have an outstanding care team! Thorough, professional, always available to answer questions and help patients prepare for surgery. Dr. Reister is one of the most accomplished and skilled surgeons in the entire area and likely Western U.S. Regarding the Rocky Mountain Surgery Center specifically (49% physician-owned), they refused to provide a good-faith estimate in writing of expected costs up-front, demands payment over the phone of estimated amount due by patient in advance - or No Surgery. Unethical.

I can’t tell you enough how wonderful Rachel is at RMSC…I’ve been getting spine injections for 2 years and she has such compassion, her humor gets me through even the toughest spine injections, she always lets me know that I’m almost there, almost done and her encouragement is the best! She has to be the best hand- holder in the Rockies! Thank you Rachel for being the very best that nursing is all about!

This place is special. Mostly owned by our surgeons, they listen to us nurses. We do everything from eyeballs to toes. And have nurses with experience from ER and ICU mostly. Our IV skills are top notch. Our anesthesiologists are hand picked. Our CMO, Dr. Kelly is superb. Dr. Nandi, Dr. Reister and our other surgeons are truly special and wonderful humans. They are the epitome of compassion meets skill. We are a team and value everyone, especially the patient. It’s why we are here!

All my colonoscopy procedures were done here. They provide the best of care the entire time. Very relaxing atmosphere and everyone is friendly. Takes me a while to wake up from anesthesia, so I do appreciate the after procedure care. Highly recommend.

This one hurt. My wife had an approved and scheduled surgery date with Rocky Mountain Surgery Center. The approval was rescinded by Rocky Mountain Surgery Center a few days before the procedure. The explanation provided by the surgeons office is that there is an issue with the negotiated rate with our insurance company (largest health insurance in the US) and the Surgery Center. Why that wasn't called out before approving and setting the surgery date is a mystery. We're delayed now 2 months for the procedure.

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY OF CARE. THE MOST AMAZING NURSES! My favorite surgery center in Colorado. I am a patient with chronic pain and so glad my Pain Doctor Ajay Vellore offers services at this surgery center. From the moment you arrive, the front desk staff greet you with a warm greeting and big smile and address every question or concern. There is great compassion from Desiree and her team at the front desk. The NURSING TEAM IS SO STELLAR - the most caring hearted professionals totally dedicated to providing you with excellent care with compassion, kindness and gentleness of spirit from pre-op, to OR, to post-op. The anesthesiologists who partner with your physician are AMAZING! So compassionate and thorough, providing excellent care to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and ALL your questions are answered. I cannot recommend this Surgery Center highly enough. If you are looking for excellent care team for your chronic pain management, RMSC is best!

Just had shoulder surgery on Friday the 4th of November 2022. The entire staff at this facility is amazing!!! I highly recommend them for any kind of surgery you need. They were kind, compassionate and very good at what they do. They have policies in place to ensure nothing slips through any cracks. In my 51 years this is by far the best medical care I have ever had!!! I can not be more thankful!!

Absolutely wonderful experience from scheduling through discharge. This was my first surgery (besides CSection) and I was so scared but their staff put me right at ease. Everyone was so kind and supportive, the facility was extremely clean, they were all very thorough in their patient education, and my post-surgical care was fantastic. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place, though I hope I never have to go there again :)

Cannot say enough amazing things about this facility. The staff are so kind, they truly care, they try in every way to make the process seamless and worry free so that you go into your procedure calm. The place is clean, well-maintained, and I would absolutely use this facility again for future procedures. I have used it twice so far.
