This is the absolutely worst health care place ever. You walk in and immediatly get this creepy unsettling vibe. I had an appointment schedule and they didn’t call me back for 1 hour and 30 minutes, while I understand there are other patients all the walks ins had just gotten through and I needed immediate attention. My illness is now so bad I am struggling to breath and they said the most they could do is tell us to have a doctor come to the house, yet I can barely afford healthcare how would we afford a van to come provide care

I called for a refill and I was treated by reception very badly, I do not feel comfortable trusting this medical group with my health any more. Poor customer service that lacks compassion and understanding. No thank you.

Everyone here is fantastic and they really care about patients. Dr. Avant is the best PCP I have ever had, and the front office staff are great, and very supportive.

Dr, Avant and the staff are great. I love that he is not one to shove you into a bunch of meds or invasive medical procedures. I have been a patient for over 15 years.

The NP Jeffrey Hensen was very helpful, thorough and took the time to fully answer my questions and share thoughts. I've been coming here for quite a few years and stay due to the great attention and care.

Gone down hill. Took over a month after constant hounding to send results to medical supplier for my treatment. Tricked me into scheduling an unnecessary appointment to be charged for it.

Sometimes getting your prescription filled is a race, because there are shortages. Hampton medical group will not help you get your meds, they are absolutely inflexible with their scheduling and they will call the pharmacy at their leisure even when they know that you are leaving town and you don't have your prescription refilled.I've played this game for a while now and as of today I am looking for a new doctors office: I need advocates and teammates not people running interference between me and my medications.

I used Dr. Avant as my primary care physician for several years. I had been a patient for about three years when I found out they wouldn't accept me as a walk in. I had developed a UTI over a weekend. I showed up at their office first thing Monday morning and was the first person in the door only to be told, in a very short and rude manner, that they didn't accept walk in patients. They told me to go to an ER. Really??? The reason I finally stopped going is because Dr. Avant discontinued doing lab work for my annual physical. This kind of blew my mind. How can any physician possibly discern my health condition with a 15 minute, how's it going?, kind of conversation?

I have been a patient of Dr. Cooper's for the last 5 years and have always had a great experience with her. She has an excellent bedside manner and has helped ease my concerns about various health issues. I have also had my blood taken here and that was a good experience as well. The front desk has gotten me in for last minute appointments with Dr. Cooper multiple times and has accommodated a virtual appointment as well.

I believe the front office staff to be the best part about this office! I’m frustrated by the horrid comments. Linda is my absolute favorite person in That place and the Face of Hampden Medical!! Give her a raise!!!I wish they would stop having such a turnover in mid level providers. The reason I haven’t left the practice is because primary care, in general, in this state is awful. I can actually say that Hampden Medical does a better job than others getting you in for last minute acute visits.

This is an old school practice and I love it. The providers are kind and listen to you. Once you’re established as a patient, it’s not much trouble to get an appt. Their portal is not great, but it’s easy enough to navigate. I really like this place if you need a general practitioner.
