It was fairly easy to get an appointment with them. I had to take it on a Friday, which is apparently when they don't have a driver to be able to take people home if needed. They were very willing to work with me however, which was greatly appreciated.
Took my car in before a big road trip pulling a camper. I expressed this and asked for everything to be checked over to make sure I would be good for the trip. The following day, when I left for my trip, I had just started up the mountains, within 30 minutes from starting my trip, when my car completely ran out of coolant. It ended up that I had likely been losing some coolant prior to the trip and needed to replace two additional parts within the system. This was really frustrating when I had just had my car into a professional shop and was told everything was fine.
Sadly, with this experience, I'm not sure I'll return now.

I've had my GMC Yukon XL in a few times and Carter has been awesome to work with. Fair prices and great work.

Got my car fixed in the same day, within a couple hours actually. Feels so much better when I’m driving it now. Pretty good prices. 2 year warranty. Would come again.

AMAZING MECHANIC!!! This is Lisa with the 05 red MDX. Went in for an oil change and transmission fluid drain and fill based on the recommendation of my neighbor. My neighbor said Carter is completely honest and does great work and he was right!! Carter looked over my car at my request because it has over 200,000 miles and I want to see if I should put the money into maintenance or upgrade to a car with less miles. Carter told me what the car needs and what it doesn’t need. His estimate was way less than the dealership and quite a bit less than another shop. He would’ve made more money right away if he had told me to keep the car, but he said if it was him and he was going to keep the car three or more years he would upgrade probably to a Toyota. I was leaning towards this anyway, but he helped solidify my decision. He spent time explaining everything to me and his prices are very fair. His honesty will bring in more money to his shop in the long run because my future used car will need to work and I will be recommending him to MANY people. The shop is nice and professional with a nice waiting area. Doc, the office is a true gentleman and very personable, and he knows a lot about cars.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My friend Alex referred me to this shop and the staff is fantastic. Everyone there so very knowledgeable and so helpful! Best shop in town. I will not be taking my car anywhere else but carters automotive!

My friend alex referred me to this shop and to be honest it is one of the best shops in town. Doc and Carter are very friendly and helpful They always get the job done without issues. They are very knowledgeable people and i will only be coming here now.

Carter is the BEST mechanic. He is completely honest and told me exactly what my car needs and what it doesn't mean and how long I can wait for certain repairs. He took the time to carefully explain everything to me, and his prices are very fair! He saved me a lot of money, telling me certain things can wait. My neighbor recommended his shop, and I couldn't be happier. The shop is very professional and neat and organized and the waiting area is nice. Doc, the office manager is very personable and knows a lot about cars.

This business is a throw back to the old days of great customer service and fair pricing. They spend time making sure they understand the customer's needs and they communicate very well. Carter fixed my truck for an issue that Groove Ford did not even diagnose. He fixed my truck and now it is going back to the original shop that did the work. Carter did the work in 1 day and he was very kind. I will forever be loyal to him and my truck will only be looked at by him. Best mechanic ever and I recommend him highly.

Carter and his team have been our go-to auto mechanic for many years, referred from a family friend.At this point, we entrust his workmanship and mechanic’s knowledge with three company trucks. All of our employees also use his services on their personal vehicles, and many friends and family have been pleased with their transition to Carter as their go-to auto shop.He basically handles all of our truck repairs and maintenance, and he truly stands behind his work. We have never felt over-charged or taken advantage of when we send our trucks in for routine maintenance.Doc at the front desk is communicable and responsive, and Carter’s support team in back always works to get the job done right.Sometimes tricky to find a mechanic to trust, but I won’t be taking my trucks anywhere else as long as Carter is in business. I want to say this happened in between 2016 - 2017. My brakes went out on my 04 Sun Damaged Navy Blue Hyundai Santa Fe while I was on my way to work. So then, I bought the parts from an auto store that very next day. After I made an appointment with them. Went in that same day and they got it all done within like couple hours. I was shocked and amazed with their service. Hands down the best auto service/Garage. Thank you.Services: Brakes
