This is my rating of how they are doing business now. They were great in the past. Now their open hours are cut to the bone, they have no repair service, and their prices are through the roof. They say they will call you about something, and they don't. In my recent experience, only one person works there in their office/showroom. Their vans are constantly parked in the handicapped spaces in their parking lot. It is a shame that this business looks like it is about to fail, as it used to be a "go to" for blinds and shades. The sole employee I have found there told me they have been unable to hire the staff they need, and this is probably the truth. This is the downfall with many local businesses. And it is a shame. But their prices reflect that they are charging enough to pay staff what it takes to hire them. And they are not.

Gave up trying to work with them. Contacted them multiple times. Even had an plan for them to meet me at my house and they didn't show and never followed up. Going to look elsewhere.

Toni was great in helping to pick just the right color for my place! The blinds came in *just* in time for a family visit and Toni made the install happen right away. Great experience, thank you!

Getting my blinds with Toni at Budget Blinds was a great experience! She has a beautiful storefront if you want to see some full size examples. But what's even better is the in home service Toni provides. She was able to come see my home and help me pick out the perfect shades for each room. Her experience and knowledge was very evident.

We are loving all of the blinds and shutters that we picked out with Toni. She was very organized. She had lots of great samples for us to choose from. She gave us ideas in areas where we needed extra assistance. We are loving how everything turned out - our house now looks complete and beautiful, the prices were very competitive, and the quality of the products are great. I would definitely recommend budget blinds!

We ordered blinds. Once they were finally installed, they seem nice. BUT our blind over the master bedroom to balcony broke in November. It took WEEKS for them to come fix it. But what they replaced it with did not fit properly, preventing the blind from fully extending... They said they would order the correct part and replace it promptly. This was before Christmas. Then, it promptly broke about 4 days after the incorrect fix, so now it doesn't go up or down.Adding to our review:The polite blinds installer fixed the French door blind in our master bedroom today. So glad it goes up and down. These blinds are very beautiful and contemporary in design. Thrilled to have it working again.Really appreciate the correction.

Toni of Budeget Blinds Southwest has been fabulously helpful installing 30 plus shades for our new home in Durango. She has been incredibly helpful and responsive and made every effort to assist me in choosing the type of shades, color etc. I am so happy she recommended dual / illususion shades. Best decision I made during my move in. I had toyed with the idea of DIY online blinds. Once on the websites, my choices kept creeping up the price. Decided to get a quote from Toni. So nice to leave it at in the hands of a professional. Yes, I paid more but they are beautiful, exactly what I wanted, installed for me. Worth every penny. Thanks!

We spent a lot of money on blinds here only to have one of them break within a year. When I called to have it fixed (they were supposed to have at least a 5 year warranty), no one called us back. I called again and again and finally got Tony on the phone who offered to charge to us to get the blind picked up (!!) Although this seemed unfair since we just had them installed, I agreed. I just wanted it fixed!! Well, she never called back to follow up on her promise and I will NEVER use them again. I ended up calling Durango Shade Company who came out and fixed it for free on the same day!! They didn't even need to ship it off and I did not have to go without a window covering for weeks which is what Tony said would have to happen. I ended up ordering multiple more shades from Durango Shade Company. They have my business forever.

We have strongly urged that this franchiser sternly request the supplier, Hunter Douglas, to improve their string setup. If you are purchasing blinds with enclosed pull strings, they break with little use! We have returned two extra large shades "4 and 5 times" for string repairs and paid $375. Get a guarantee to pay the RT freight or find another supplier. And, if you require installation you will pay even more!! The franchiser should refund the Round Trip freight, collect from Hunter Douglas and pay for re-installation. Otherwise, they will loose referrals. We had 6 new large homes built that could have received referrals from us, but No Way now given this inferior service.

They were great! We needed new blinds in our rental home and we live out of state. They were recommended by our neighbor who also gave an outstanding review. When we were at the house again months later, we saw the great job they had done. Will use them again!
