I was overly impressed by Sam’s Automotive! Dimitri & his team were able to get me in the next day due to a cancellation. As a woman who was looking for a new place in Denver I could trust- this fit the bill. I dropped off my car & Dimitri gave me a very reasonable quote (cheapest in all of Denver Metro) and got me back my car same day. I’ve given it a week to see how it runs & it’s back in business. Highly suggest this to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic & friendly staff. Cheers to Sam’s!

There's not a more competent and trustworthy mechanic on the planet. We've been taking our cars to Sam's for 15+ years, going back to when the business was run by Dmitri's (Dima's) dad. Now our 4 adult kids take their cars to Dima as well. We trust him because he stands behinds his work, delivers things when promised, can fix anything that can possibly go wrong with a car, and is unfailingly honest. Never overcharges or recommends a fix that's not needed. Highly recommended.

Took our ‘97 Cherokee in for check engine light issues with the evaporator system. They’ve been great working through the issue several times with no additional charges. Very friendly and fair.

Dima here is amazing! I was in a pickle (and from out of town) and my van wouldn’t start. They were super busy but made the time to help me get the van working so I wasn’t stuck in town. THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING!! Thank you!

Had some work done a couple weeks ago on an old Honda Accord, we couldn't find the right shifter online and Sams Auto went out of their way to..as they called it.. "Frankenstein" it together with other parts to make it work! ?
This place is FANTASTIC!
Usually my husband takes it in but was out of town, Sams Auto was so friendly to me and fairly priced, (I didn't realize fair auto pricing existed anymore) they even filled up the tires, and fixed an issue where the key wouldn't come out of the ignition, and it didn't break the bank to come here, it would have been waaay expensive anywhere else, I am certain!
They are so knowledgeable and I will recommend this place to family and friends (and whoever reads this review online of course) ?
Plus, can we all support small business, y'all know it's the right thing to do!

Honest, trustworthy, fair and down to earth mechanic. Quick too! In and out in one day. Highly recommend especially to women; I had a notably refreshing experience. Most mechanics out there have taken advantage or are condescending because of my gender, but not these guys :) 10/10!

I have been meaning to write this for a while!
I first brought one of my old cars into the shop and was promptly greeted by what might possibly be the nicest mechanic I’ve ever met in my life. I had been told by a different mechanic that I needed something specific repaired, so I came to him to have it repaired. Instead of just shrugging and saying, “OK give me your money”, Dimitri simply asked, “are you planning to keep this car for much longer”?
I had in fact planned to buy a new car within the next year or so anyway. He then told me he could fix the issue but he would prefer for me to put my money toward getting that new car and that he would happily take a look at the car I was looking at buying whenever I got close to purchasing.
He did exactly that. They ended up selling the car before I was able to purchase, but when I got my current car I took this one to him as well to have him give the seal of approval, after all he’s the one who will be fixing it haha.
It’s been about 2-4 years since that first time I visited, and I refuse to go anywhere else now. I thanked him for being so kind and respectful (I was at the time a single gal who didn’t know anything about cars and had many experiences of the “why do you smile more sweetie” kind). He responded something along the lines of “I have a wonderful wife, and I would want her to be treated kindly if it were her”. What a literal angel. Every single person I’ve met at the shop over the last few years is always the most genuinely happy, friendly, kind person ever.
Selfishly, I want to keep this place my secret. But honestly, they give the best customer service, they’re kind, respectful, honest and they deserve to have all the goodness coming to them. Thanks for everything to the Sam’s crew!

My Ignition Switch went out unexpectedly Wed morning. I called Dimitri Wednesday morning and he said bring it by. I bought it by, (towed by the way), and by the end of the day it was fixed! He was extremely busy, but he got me back on the road before the storm came in. I would highly recommend Sam's Automotive if you want to get a fair price and quality work done on your vehicle. ??

Had an awesome experience here. I was about to be back in college and returning to a student budget, so I took my car in for 100k upkeep and for any maintenance she might need beforehand. I requested for the owner to please repair only what she needed just to get me through school. They did exactly that, were honest, and had extremely reasonable prices. Now 2-3 years later, I'm about to graduate and I haven't had any problem with my Civic ever since - (besides the normal basic upkeep of brakes and oil changes). For a 10 year old car that's pretty good! I definitely plan to go back sometime this year to see if she needs any more tune-ups.

Took my car here after an express oil change place claimed I had a huge engine oil leak and my friend recommended seeing Dimitri. When I called they had a spot for me within a week and after dropping off at 7:30 they called by 11:30 and told me truly nothing was wrong. I really appreciate them taking a look and being honest with me. I've had experiences with mechanics disrespecting me or acting like I know nothing about cars. Even though there ended up with no issues on my car I'm thankful for the quick & professional service, and that I have now found a trustworthy mechanic in Denver that feels like the small town one I used to go to!
