Really helpful staff and great amenities along with plenty of options. Multi-level and climbing courses with big walls.

Revisited for bike repair - very slow and rude service. Kept waiting for 20 minutes just to pick up. Previous review: I was sold on a PTex repair for my ski, and after it completely fell out after only 3x skiing (lady said because they didn’t use a big enough patch) I was told “skiing is just an expensive sport” when I asked if they would stand behind their lousy repair job. How rude! Go somewhere else for your repairs.

The last couple times I've been to this store whatever I was shopping for was nearly empty with little to no selection of sizes, styles or models. Today I needed to buy a jacket for my dog, which is important to fit properly. Not allowing well behaved dogs into the store (AND NO SIGN INFORMING OF THIS) meant I wasn't able to check fit and given that I didn't expect much selection it wasn't worth leaving my dog behind and hoping whatever I could find might fit. You're already going the wrong direction REI and I was hoping to continue to be a supportive customer after the many thousands I've spent in store and online. If things cannot be tried in store anyway I'll just order straight from manufacturers and cut out you useless middlemen! This kind of disconnect from customers is why you're failing! Bye!

Awful awful, awful snooty store. Nothing is listed in the store. There are no signs direct you to where customer services or the registers. You just have to ask an employee where you will be told rudely where to go. Never again worst REI I’ve ever been to in Colorado

BEWARE THE PARKING CHARGES. I spent 2:29 shopping for shoes but didn't buy any. I knew I was over 90 minutes, and thought I would be paying $5, but my card was charged $20. I should have read that sign more carefully. Apparently I could have gotten my parking validated in the store. I called and spoke to a manager, and they're reversing it.

Tried to try on some clothes in women's department
I asked sales women for help in finding a dressing room. She rolled her eyes and walked away. Rudest sales person ever. I walked out of store. They list $200 sale and my respect

Female cashier was incredibly rude and unkind. Was standing being several groups looking to cash out and assumed that was the line because I watched each of them go up to the register. Then the female cashier goes to me “can we make room for me. I’m coming through” (not an excuse me or anything) while I was standing in line. Then once it’s my turn she coldly and rudely states that I wasn’t in line. If I wasn’t in line why didn’t she say anything to me before hand? Then tell her I’m looking for a giftcard and she coldy again says “well pick one out”. I immediately walked out after that because I understood my business wasn’t welcome. Not sure why I would want to spend my money here if staff can’t kindly communicate with their customers. I would never intentionally cut in line but found their layout confusing . Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back.

I love this REI. The people who work there are so helpful, the store is HUGE so they have pretty much anything you could want for your outdoor activities, there’s a Starbucks attached so I usually get a drink and walk around REI and shop while I drink my drink. It’s also right on the Platte River and a bike/walking trail so you could immediately put some of those newly purchased items to use immediately!

Really disappointed at what REI has become. $400-$500 for a flimsy rain jacket. The mothership store is overrun with bougie Californians. Staff cannot be bothered to help (e.g., when looking at shoes). I wouldn't call them rude as other posters have said; rather staff just seems to be indifferent about anything. This location seems to he haphazardly stocked... in most clothing areas, the only sizes out seemed to be XXL and M or S.

I love my local REI, but this store is on a different level.

I wanted to buy new bikes for my 3 year old daughter and 4 year old son, but some for some reason they are fine with my wife walking my daughter in her tricycle but I can’t walk my son with his bike. Both falls under the category stroller with TSA (reference point )
I don’t like to be singled out like this, the same employee that asked that I leave the store with my son walked right past my wife
Be aware that if you have brown / dark hair and speaking with an accent you have different rules than a blonde women walking with a girl on a pink bike
I’m comparing the treatment that me and my wife received during the same visit walking 30 ft apart. Same time same place same enployees.
I guess I’ll buy their new bikes some other place.
