I always have the most incredible experience with Jason Schwind at Michta Salon! Jason listens to what I want and offers advice that makes my hair look better than I could have imagined. The salon itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the entire staff was friendly and professional.
I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a top-notch hairstylist who cares deeply about their clients. Thank you, Jason, for an amazing experience.. always!

Been looking for a salon in Denver for the past 6-7 years. Every time I found a place and started to get comfortable, services seemed to be very inconsistent or downhill. More expensive and worse quality. Galina (owner) does an excellent job. Brought my hair back to life, healthier than it's been in years. Loving the treatment, products, cuts and color. No pressure and very easy going. Fair prices, especially for Cherry Creek. Finally found my spot. Highly recommend this salon. Clean, friendly, consistent experiences.

The only reason I go to this salon is because I followed my stylist of over 20 years who moved to this location. For being a salon in ritzy Cherry Creek North (and charging Cherry Crrek North prices) you'd think the vibe and atmosphere in the salon would follow suite...it doesn't, it's sadly kind of a dump. There is no front desk so you just wander in, seat yourself at a very blah waiting area, and hope someone greets you. There are no magazines to read, no beverages, just a couple chairs by the window. The place itself feels old and dirty, with dated wallpaper and an old 1980's mural. Sitting down at the wash bowls, you stare at lights that are uneven & falling out of the ceiling, knicked up walls, cabinet doors mis-hung, cups and random things on the counter and a cheap curtain open into the storage/cleaning supply area. The bathroom is dated & unkempt, empty paper towel holder, no direction where to put a used smock, trash can doesn't open and the vent on the ceiling looks like it hasn't been cleaned, well, ever...I've honestly seen nicer restrooms at the Love's gas station.Now, this review is not to knock the stylists. I like mine and I've seen others there do great hair. But for me, getting my hair done is usually a 4x/year luxury, and when I'm paying $300 a pop, I expect a more pampering, sensory-exciting experience. If you're looking for a Cherry Creek-worthy salon, this isn't it.Services: Blowdry

Maria does an excellent job cutting my curly hair. I met her back in 2008 when I used to live in Denver. Now I’m in Arizona and go back to see her and have her cut my hair whenever I can…she’s that amazing! If you’re looking for the perfect curly hair stylist and colorist, Maria is the one for you!

I highly recommend Mitcha Salon. Any of the hair stylists will do a great job for you. Of course I have my favorite and that is Maria. She will definitely not disappoint.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Maria. She is amazing and consistent. I’ve been coming to her for the past few years after a random meeting in Cherry Creek. She’s personable, knowledgeable, and makes you feel fab walking out the door. If you need a new stylist—give her a shout!

I called him to ask some questions about his balayage service that he advertised there and the first thing he says is "oh that campaign is not supposed to be up, I canceled it along time ago with Groupon" I replied with, "oh no! I called him to ask some questions about his balayage service that he advertised there and the first thing he says is "oh that campaign is not supposed to be up, I canceled it along time ago with Groupon" I replied with, "oh no! If you're not wanting to honor the Groupon price that's OK, I understand, as a small business owner myself who's ran Groupon campaigns in the past. I can find another stylist." After he hemmed and hawed he said that he would be good to honor that advertised price and made an appointment with me... I made sure to clarify that it was an appointment for the hair service not just a consult and he confirmed. I closed out over 3 hours of my work schedule to keep this appointment (so lost $). I arrived and we talked about how I like the balayage to look as I had it before but was way grown out. He got very frustrated and said that he didn't want to do my hair after all. He was unhappy that I had previously colored hair (who has virgin hair these days anymore?!). I was so upset! I told him that I had taken off from work to get this long service done while my daughter was at school. And that I don't get the chance to take care of my hair very often and that this was a really big deal for me. He was super rude and confronting. In reality, it felt like he didn't really want to do the service for the discounted price and this was his way of getting out of it. I asked to speak to a manager of the salon and waited for a long time and got the runaround. The best they could offer was for me to speak to the owner on the phone. The owner did not appear sensitive to this situation that wound up costing me so much money in lost work and no service to show for it. She reported that Diego admitted that he should've scheduled a consult before hand but that was it. No apologies, no way to compensate my loss or make it up to me, just a really bad attitude. I will never go back to this place!

I walked into Michta Salon to make an appt. yesterday. I was not acknowledged by anyone. After waiting by the counter for nearly 5 minutes, I left. I've never experienced such rudeness, or lack of customer service. I work in Cherry Creek North, and I would be disciplined by my management if I treated any potential customer with such disrespect.
