Overpriced, by that price it shouldn't be overcrowded!
We went in the morning and it was full already.
You can't really enjoy anything because everywhere you look is full of people.
Also if you go, please shower and use fkn deodorant!!!
I was nauseated with the smell, incredibly disgusting.
Some rooms aren't well ventilated, so you can imagine.
If you are sensitive to smells and really want to go, wear a mask.

Massive Scam. I was really excited to go here and felt really let down… like I thought there was going to be a cool story and interactive world but it was just two hours of walking around feeling stupid bc I couldn’t figure out how to make sense of anything. Felt empty and lifeless. The advertisement verses the experience makes meow wolf feel like a massive scam.
I definitely recommend researching this place before coming. It feels like a tourist trap.
Don’t go here there are way more fun and interesting things to do.
Like just get yourself a nice dinner and save yourself the regret!

We visited Meow Wolf in September. The art itself was stunning and carefully crafted by talented people, the overall experience was pretty disappointing. The visuals and world-building were fantastic, but the interactive element we were expecting just wasn’t there.
My spouse was especially excited to take me to this exhibit because they had attended a similar one in Vegas that was much more immersive and engaging. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t live up to that, and it was hard not to compare the two. The exhibit used to feature actors to help bring the experience to life, but they’ve now been replaced with digital cards and ports, which didn’t engage us as much. The storyline felt rushed and more like an afterthought, which was surprising for something advertised as immersive.
There were telephones placed throughout the exhibit, but when we tried to use them, nothing happened. No sounds, no interaction, nothing. It felt like a huge missed opportunity. There were also games meant to earn "mems," but in one area, only one out of six games even worked, which just added to the frustration.
The exhibit was also crowded, with kids running around everywhere. If you have kids, this is probably a cool experience for them- a lot of the features seemed to be designed with children in mind, as many were at child height. Because of the crowd size, the parts of the exhibit that were clearly meant to be photo ops were always occupied, so we barely got to enjoy them.
We paid $55 per person, which came out to $110 for both of us. While we left disappointed, we’re thankful it was just the two of us, as I can’t imagine paying even more for a larger group. To add to the frustration, parking was $15, and drinks were priced at $18 each. Yes, that’s typical for downtown Denver or venues like this, but after spending $110 just to get in the door, paying extra for a drink to help us enjoy the experience felt like a cash grab. Not to mention t-shirts to commemorate the experience - at $85!!
Again, the art is incredible. But between the lack of working features, the crowds, and the diminished interaction, we left feeling like it was a missed opportunity—especially for the price.

This place is just amazing! Can’t even describe in words how cool all the exhibits are and love all the secret doors that bring you to another world!

Took my cousin to this while she was in town, and we had a blast! The storyline was fun and interactive. Everywhere you look there was something new to explore, and the staff dressing like characters in the world and interacting with us was so fun. We really had a great time. My only real complaint was the parking. I saw signs all over for get tickets and thought we were good. I didn't realize the tickets were for parking. The signage wasn't great. There were 4 of us and none of us picked up on it. They even send you an email before your visit and there was nothing in there about paid parking. I ended up getting a parking ticket. I emailed them and the company in charge of parking with suggestions about better signage and heads up. They were nice and reduced my fine down to the cost of the parking for the day. Hopefully they fix that.

Did not disappoint. We visited the one in Santa Fe and loved it so much that we flew from NY to Denver just to go here. Each section is well designed and interesting and otherworldly. I think we saw every room, because we were committed to, but it took us 5.5 hours.
I heard mixed reviews about brining kids (5, 2, and 6 months old), so I was a little nervous, but it ended up being a great experience because they could touch everything. Just keep your eyes on them and you’ll be fine.
The restaurant is so good and very reasonably priced. I’d read negative reviews online and don’t really agree with them. It’s plenty of food and not overpriced for the convenience of eating at the location.
We didn’t have a chance to follow any of the storylines or do any of the mystery digging and we still had a great time

The Meow Wolf experience is always great! Highly recommend.
If you are on the fence and trying to fit it in your schedule, you can absolutely get the bang for your buck in 2 hours. We rearranged our day thinking we needed 3-5 hours like other reviews and were content after 2! If you are a super fan of stuff like this and want to see every inch, you will need closer to a half a day.
Make this happen!

Overpriced and uninspiring. This "modern?" Take on an art museum is a solid demonstration in the fact that newer is not always better. Leaning on cheap tricks, weird lighting, and creepy design, they have attempted to create a visceral and head tilting bizarre extravagance. But extravagance is all it is. After paying $15 to park enjoy your $55 ticket to what is essentially a low effort art museum with less light. If that is not enough it is full of bonus "features" integrated into the museum that you can pay more to experience. Like a video game filled to the brim with dlc. It is exceedingly claustrophobic, crowded, and just weird. Staff constantly coming out of areas and peaking out of doors breaking immersion every few minutes.
I honestly am not sure completely what they are trying to accomplish here. It's not scary or thought provoking.... It's just a bunch of "why?" You're in Colorado. Save yourself almost $100 and just go outside.

Get the year long membership. It's so hard to do the whole thing in 1 day.

My friend and I are in Denver for the weekend and bought tickets. Super easy to get tickets online.
What a quirky art museum. Very fun to just wander around. Different universes to see. I think we should’ve got the $3 story pass thing to maybe understand what we were looking at lol and there were some interactive parts we couldn’t do cause we needed that pass. I think for first time just exploring was good without it to get a feel of the museum and then 2nd time going to get the story pass. Stick with your friends or have a meet up spot hahah and like they kept saying there, if you get lost you’re doing it right hehe. Don’t be shy and open all the doors because you don’t know what your about to see lol
Parking was $16 just a heads up.
And try eating before going. The food was over priced and not the best.. avoid the breakfast burrito

We drove up from Albuquerque and we had a great time. We have been to the one in Santa Fe which is also very cool. Just turned into a bummer when we left and discovered there was a 45$ parking ticket. It seemed as if the parking lot belonged to meow wolf. We would have paid for parking if we realized it. I called meow wolf and they gave me a number to call to talk about the ticket but it was a bunk number that didn't work. Point is....be sure and pay for parking to avoid wasting 45$ plus 5$ service fee. Sucks to have a damper out into a trip.

Like nothing I’ve ever experienced! My daughter and I stayed until it closed. Unbelievable art and experience.
