They may be a small local facility, but they are awesome and I appreciate them taking such good care of me!

You can't get any better than Conifer Medical Center. I'm saddened and curious about recent poor reviews, as I've never had anything but positive experiences with the center's front office and medical staff, as well as physicians.
I've been a patient of Dr. Christina Pinsinski for 25+ years because she is simply the BEST family physician I've had in my life (I'm in my late 60s and I've seen plenty of docs). Dr. P's schedule is admittedly packed because she is THAT good and all us long-termers won't go to anyone else if we can help it. She truly cares about each patient, is an excellent diagnostician, is professional but warm and always incredibly upbeat, and she constantly researches best practices and new treatment techniques. She also allows herself to become part of her patients' inner lives by demonstrating true interest and caring about situations, emotions, and events that impact one's overall health - weaving that all together with the physical characteristics she sees to make insightful recommendations and treatment plans. I'm not referring just to myself when I speak of her patients. I have many friends whose primary physician is Dr. Pinsinski, and they each revere her as I do.
Dr. P consistently works to assure that her patients receive the best possible care available, both in her office and with others to whom she refers. One of her assistants recently told me, "no one knows how much she fights for her patients," and when I asked for clarification, he explained that she regularly advocates for her patients with insurers, other medical professionals, labs, and other service providers. I've seen her do that on my own behalf as well as that of others.
Last year she literally saved the life of a friend of mine who had not been to a doctor in decades. The friend had been experiencing severe pain and bleeding for more than a year, and was frightened to go to a doctor after previous negative experiences. When I told Dr. Pinsinski about my friend and requested a quick appointment, she made it happen, despite her packed schedule, because of the severity of the situation. My friend was diagnosed with cancer which was at a dangerous stage. Dr. P advocated with surgeons and specialists for her to get into treatment quickly, which she did. My friend is now cancer-free and sees Dr. P regularly. She credits Dr. P, as I do, with saving her life and helping her to have a near-miraculous health recovery. We are both so grateful and feel hugely blessed to have Dr. P in our corner.
While not all physicians are as extraordinary as Dr. Pinsinski, she has worked hard to assure that all physicians at Conifer Medical Center are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I have always experienced the center's staff members as highly competent and congenial, despite heavy workloads because of the high demand in our mountain town. While other medical centers have closed their doors over the years up here, Conifer Med has thrived and expanded. I believe that's directly due to the high quality of their services in both their Conifer and Evergreen offices.
Recently, I had an urgent situation that required me to see Dr. Bross, a physician in Conifer Med's Evergreen office. His super-friendly, competent, and professional assistant, Jesse, told me that Dr. Bross was the best doctor he knew and that I would be impressed. I was. Dr. Bross showed the highest level of care, concern, knowledge, diagnostic accuracy, and responsiveness, all while being genial, personable, and direct. I would trust my care or that of any friend to his capable hands.
Good medical care often comes with the appointment scheduling difficulties, incidental irritations, insurance issues, off-days for staff members, or even outright mistakes. But for high quality, professional medical care, it's my decided opinion Conifer Medical Center is THE best medical

We haven’t even seen a doctor yet. I came in yesterday to get my husband and I in the system since we are changing primary care doctors. I dropped off the paperwork today so everything is in order for our future appts. I forgot to ask the front desk to add me to a cancellation list or see if there were any other appts with another practitioner. Just wanted to check and see. I spoke to a woman named Lorraine. She was rude, kept cutting me off and had an attitude from the start. The front desk is the first point of contact for all patients. Starting off the patient/doctor relationship with people who are rude, impatient, and won’t let you speak isn’t comforting. I had to stop her from talking and let her know she was being extremely rude when I asked a simple question. She said, the doctors are only seeing so many appointments and it’s putting stress on the front desk. I understand that, I manage 250 people in a hospital setting. Both clinical (nurses and doctors) and front desk/customer service. That is not the patients concern and inappropriate to say. This type of communication should be addressed and employees should be retrained on appropriate customer service.

Every time we go we have to have a new doctor because the good ones always leave! The people at the front desk and when you call to make an appointment are just nasty!!! If you are sick and need to get in good luck… just go to urgent care. All around they are terrible!

This medical office lies. My doctor retired, and they refused to fill my Rx, and said that my old doctor told them not to serve me. This is a blatant lie, as she told me which person to request when she left. They are very unprofessional and will cuss at you over the phone if you disagree with them.
Shoddy bisiness practices all the way around. I'm glad my doctor retired from thos awful, awful practice. By doing this to me, they are losing FOUR patients. I hope that makes them happy. If you DO go there, avoid Susan Bradshaw at all costs.

Marc Cianfichi is very rude and unprofessional and I would not suggest him. He does not follow up, has poor manners, and is a little man with a big ego!

Unreasonably judgmental. I expressed I had a condition (adhd) that was treated by as needed adderrall for years and they told me no doctor could see me in their building after weeks of trying to get an appointment because they couldn’t prescribe a controlled substance. This was only concluded after the receptionist asked me extremely invasive questions about my medical history. I haven't had this experience before today to feel ashamed and belittled over my personal medical history. It may be normal for them but it’s not normal on a broad spectrum. Folks need their medication. Very awkward and I’ll be driving out of town to seek medical help elsewhere. I just moved into this community and this is embarrassing. Sad you can’t get quality medical help in your own community.

This place needs to consider the medical "Do no harm" oath more seriously. As an established patient I called with what turned out to be a potential life threatening emergency and was told that because I had a $27 dollar balance (for a bill I never received because they had my info wrong) my account had been disabled and I would have to call when the billing office was open to pay it and have my account be brought back into good standing. No option to pay when I got there, or even right then over the phone. I guess when youre the only dr in town you can treat people this way and get away with it, but I for one would rather drive to the city and be treated like my life matters. I hadn't been to my dr in Denver in 2 years, but they saw me immediately.

These people have lost their minds. They will now only practice medicine if you wait in your car outside (it’s 12 below zero right now) then the “doctor” walks out to see you. This review is being written in 2024 not 2020. Mind boggling. We all need to look elsewhere and find medical care provided by people who are capable of rational thought.

I have been impatient at Conifer Medical Center for over 20 years and I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for Care. Dr. Sarche and the entire Conifer Medical Center staff are professional, intelligent, and caring.

My family, including my parents, have been patients at CMC for decades. We’re treated with respect, & concern. Every effort is always made to accommodate our needs. While CMC is very professional, they are also like family. What more can you ask for?
