This pharmacy is understaffed or ridiculously slow. They honestly do not care uf you go back and forth 100 times, based on faulty automated service updates. Highly inefficient, Often, no pharmacists available, or definitely not enough for volume being filled. 3 yrs ago or so rhey
were much kinder ,helpful and efficient. I'd have given them a five star then but lately, I am reluctant to even give a 2 star, except the in-store nonpharmacy help is nice. Pharmaceutical issues at every Walgreens is becoming legendary.. it's also slower, insurance mix-ups constantly and not handicap helpful nor understanding of issues of travel as a disabled person so they blow off concerns with come back later or it will still be qnother 2 plus hour wait, despite the systemreporting it is ready. ExCUSE;. They say you should not trust the automated system. Why have one then? Also, every Walgreens is extremely overpriced in every manner. I'd recommend everyone stop using Walgreens. They even said oh tell your doctor to subscribe elsewhere. Not a great business model. This store Is a disaster of late.

I picked up my last prescription today from this location - I had to cancel my other pickups today and move to the Safeway across the street due to prices and unprofessionalism here. I've been using Walgreens since the early 2000s and it's always been a quick and easy trip for me until I started going to this location near my apartment. Justin (pharmacy manager) is the most condescending and also the rudest individual that I have met working in a pharmacy. The first time I met him was when did a drive through pickup should've been the perfect reason why I should've transferred prescriptions somewhere else. He was beyond irritated that I was running GoodRx vs my insurance and came off as not wanting to talk to me - highly unfriendly in general. It was uncomfortable and awkward. He kept cutting me off mid sentence and assumed the answer to the question I was trying to ask.
Today I came in to pickup a prescription and asked to run GoodRx as insurance was charging me DOUBLE. I'm seeing multiple doctors with a few prescriptions so I'm trying to save every penny that I can. He commented along the lines of "your insurance is useless if you are running GoodRx" as if it's anybody's business why you want better pricing for your medicine and that my prescription was already "inexpensive enough". I had a question about a side effect with one of my prescriptions and his reply was to "talk to your doctor" and didn't bother finding their pharmacist. He also didn't want to answer any questions today regarding pricing for my new medications and was even more irate that I asked to run GoodRX. I picked up my one prescription (which I shouldn't have), walked out the door and cancelled my remaining two. I then proceeded to the Safeway in walking distance and transferred my prescriptions where I don't have to deal with this ridiculous behavior, be judged on my choice to use GoodRX and ripped off with high prices.

Jonathan and Madi are amazing! We did the photos there and Jonathan was so carefully serving us, taking multiple photos to make sure match the photo requirement, and even gave us extra photos. Later, my email didn't receive Walgreens photos and Jonathan and Madi even prepared a free usb device for me to pick up. In my personal view, the real treassure of Walgreens is not any departments or any merchandise, but outstanding employees such as Jonathan and Madi!

The employees, both Jonathan & Rebecca at this Lexington store in Colorado Springs (5262) were amazing. They helped me with pictures and made amazing suggestions for me. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, and this store is amazingly clean and runs smoothly!

By far one of the best locations in town. The staff is amazing. The management is amazing and they always have a Friendly answer or helping hand. They far outweigh any other Walgreens in town in our opinion.
On a seconary note don't EVER visit the Royal Pines Colorado Springs location.Their staff is TERRIBLY rude , condescending, an all around unhelpful if you're any shade darker than Casper.
Which explains why they have a 1.9 rating.
Don't even bother to visit there.

I never post reviews but the way I was treated by the pharmacy staff at the Lexington Walgreens was so rude. Very disappointed in how the pharmacy staff treated me. The lady in the drive thru didn’t want to listen to me explain what was going on, she kept cutting me off. Then I go in and the other lady was rude. Poor customer service. I come to this Walgreens all the time. I do not appreciate the way the situation was handled. I totally understand they are busy but gives them no right to treat a customer that way. I did speak with a manager and hopefully the pharmacy staff will treat their customers with respect. I can say other staff are always very nice and helpful but the pharmacy is a whole different story.

Moved to this pharmacy about 2 years ago and it was great. Pharmacy staff was organized and the few times there was a problem with the prescription it was immediately corrected. At sometime in the last year a new pharmacist showed up and things went downhill fast. It’s now the norm I make multiple trips for each prescription because something “in the system” went wrong. I’ve been given so many contradicting reasons why things went wrong I no longer trust the pharmacist. She makes store rules and I’m told it’s the law. I’ve been lied to multiple times by the pharmacist. I’ve come to realize all walgreens are not the same and the pharmacist manager can make it a great store or become the bane of my existence.

This particular store has steadily gone down hill in customer service behind the pharmacy since I started going there in 2016. Lauren the pharmacist is absolutely terrible and doesn’t seem to have a grasp of what is going on and Anthony the store manager does not seem to care about the store or his customers. I have never had a complaint before besides one pharmacy tech who ALWAYS seems to be in a bad mood, but even then I did not complain. Today I had an issue and asked what should have been a terribly easy question to answer if there were proper training in place (especially as this apparently happens quite often). However, I was talked to in an extremely condescending tone and told that they “don’t know. If I had to guess it was a glitch but I don’t know” when someone has a question about their medication, I don’t know, is never an appropriate answer. And perhaps a TINY bit of empathy would have made this interaction end differently. I know that my business makes no difference to the company as a whole, but I will not be returning after this. Do better Anthony and Lauren.

Allison, in the pharmacy department, was beyond helpful and patient addressing my many questions about an unfamiliar prescription. She took the time to ensure I had the information I needed to make an informed decision regarding my family’s prescription needs. We will be return customers thanks to her efforts!
