Pioneers prices are the highest around, the staff hate their jobs, they charge extra fees for loading, and it smells like trash. They over load and charge for extra materials while wasting your time and they don’t care! Don’t shop here go to Colorado Materials!

We bought black granite from Pioneer and during the delivery process, I was informed by the driver that it was permissible to deposit the rocks along the side in front of my house. Initially, I harbored doubts about this, but she reassured me, citing her frequent deliveries in our neighborhood. Turns out that her information was incorrect, as a law enforcement officer later visited me to clarify that I required a permit and would face fines if I did not comply.I acknowledge the importance of familiarizing oneself with the regulations governing our neighborhood. However, I can't help but feel disappointed that the professionals did not assume responsibility for their statements. I contacted the company, seeking assistance in relocating the rocks, but they promptly shifted the blame, asserting that I bore full responsibility for the improper disposal.I believe that in situations such as these, it is essential for all parties involved to maintain professionalism and integrity. It would be more constructive for the company to acknowledge the driver's error and work collaboratively towards a solution rather than merely attributing the situation to me. This approach would not only fix the issue but also enhance the company's reputation for customer service and responsibility within the community.

Delivery was great. Driver called ahead of time and dumped the rock right where I wanted it. Will definitely use Pioneer again!

Great job for drivers Wd and also the lady driver. Oth arrived on time, and dumped it exactly where I asked. No hassles and smooth process.

We have come here once or twice a year since we moved to the area over ten years ago and always get friendly helpful service, fair pricing and answers to our questions. My yard looks amazing after a trip here. Thank you!!!

We have used Pioneer for many years. We have never had an issues. Drive Ed Raven was friendly and was able to dropped load of rock just where I asked and was perfect.

Good customer service and selection but absolutely ridiculously high when it comes to pricing. Sometimes 3 and 4 times higher than other landscape facilities.

Ordered ~$500 worth of 1.5" rock and paid $150.00 for delivery. Received the load of rock that consisted of over half being 3" rock, mud and sand. They refused to do anything and said that it is what it is. Even when pictures were provided. Looks like they scoop nothing but silt with the small rocks and compensated with the large rock. We did not get what we paid for.

Mark is amazing and very helpful in making paperwork correct. He is always nice an polite. Even with grumpy customers . He is a asset to this store.I wish scheduling deliveries was quicker. They call someone for that, don't always get a answer right now.

Sold me some “planters mix”. Basically the worst soil I have ever seen. I’m no expert gardener by any means, very amateur but when I pay for a product you expect some sort or quality. After using about half of the load in my garden and having to mix way too much of my own compost to even make it a decent soil I decide it was time to get my money back. Would only give me money for a half load. No problem I used half seems fair. They charge you 25% to return the product and then on top of it require you unload it from your vehicle. I’m sorry but if you charge 25% one of your young very worthless staff members can unload it. Will no longer be using pioneer. I would suggest Longmont for garden soil.

We just had 3 boulders delivered and we love them! Danny did a wonderful job with the delivery. He listened to how we wanted them placed and expertly positioned them.

This place has lost its ways with their pricing. A CU yard of mulch is $113 before delivery. 13.5 bags (I.e. CU yard) of equivalent mulch at Home Depot and Lowe’s is $74 dollars. How does a retail product that costs more to produce (vs bulk) can be so much cheaper. The price increase vs even last year is outrageous. Not to mention that their delivery fee now is practically double. What gives???
