I booked to stay in The Little Nell at the recommendation of a friend who stayed here in winter. I was curious to see why it commanded a higher-than-normal price tag for a 5 star hotel. And after 5 days here, I can confirm that it is special and worth it.
The room is great but comparable to the Park Hyatts and other R&C properties - what sets it apart is the extremely high service level, unique experiences which you can’t get with other hotels like the Dior riviera pool fit-out, Dior spa, Audi driving experience, gastronomic meals at AspenX mountain club or being shuttled on a party bus to enjoy al fresco dining on a ranch with Michelin chefs. There is always something exciting happening at the Little Nell - kudos to May Selby & team!
This is what you are paying for - so if you are a lover of unique luxury travel experiences which pampers you till no end - The Little Nell is the place you need to stay in Aspen.

This place is beyond fantastic!! The staff is courteous, friendly, helpful, and on top of everything!
I absolutely loved my stay here!!
Rooms: The rooms are beautiful and luxurious.
Safety: Extremely safe!
Walkability: Convenient to a variety of shops.

Fantastic hotel right at the base of Aspen. Service is excellent, both at the concierge as well as in room cleaning, etc. Worth the price.

I can not say enough about or experience here. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with fire places which I adore. Food is top in notch in ALL of the restaurants to include Ajax. Staff is amazing, so kind and accommodating. For example we were here for a birthday party and didn't have candles. We called the concierge and they ran over candles to Catch within 5 minutes on a Thursday night. My friend left her wedding rings on the sink and the bellman drove them to the airport to meet and give them to her. The hotel is in a great location that you can walk almost anywhere to shop and eat or you can take the shuttle. Would come here again and again.

My wife and I were married at the Nell 32 years ago. It was as beautiful a hotel then as it is now. The associates are always kind and helpful. Kudos to a wonderful staff!

My recent stay at The Little Nell in Colorado was absolutely top-notch! The stunning mountain views were the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments with friends. The attentive service and luxurious amenities, like the cozy fireplace lounge and exquisite dining, made our time there truly special. An A+ experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence. The only downside was the lack of concierge amenities, but overall, it was an unforgettable getaway.

Not sure how this place is a Relais hotel. I mean I’m astounded. The hotel operations seem to be an absolute mess. Eating at any of the spots inside the Nell was a 1 star experience. Putting dishes down on the table without explanation, never checking in on how we are doing, and taking 30 minutes to procure a check. Shocking.
