Helpful, courteous staff made our vacation easier and better. We rented via Expedia, got a great deal. Far from the airport but no hassle, no waiting.

I had a reservation here, and the manager tried to stick me in an electric car with "up to" 200 miles of range, refused to offer any other vehicles . What a scam.

Staff was kind. Car was clean. Service was prompt. After hours drop off was not available due to the box being stolen but that’s not their fault. Due to this, I was told that I could bring the vehicle back the next day before 10 AM and not be charged for a late drop off. Despite this, I was still charged, even though the man at the counter said I wouldn’t be. I only noticed when I got home and reviewed my receipt. Sleazy.

Apparently if you rent a car, Hertz technology searches the entire city and sends you still to the one you’re trying to book through. Showed up here to this location for our cargo can rental to be told they aren’t even here. How can such a large company have such horrible software?

Very weird location. Sketchy atmosphere with vandalism abound — someone graffitied the side of their building with a weird diatribe and stole their key dropbox so they can’t take returns outside of business hours. Lobby is sparse and ugly with 3 chairs and no restroom for customers. They had a single employee, Christopher, who was facilitating all walk-ins, phone calls, and even cleaning the cars!! Despite the impatient customers, Christopher is one of the nicest, most professional customer service employees I’ve ever experienced. Hertz should give Christopher a promotion and a job at a better location. Customers should go elsewhere if they can.

Noah and Christopher took care of me very well with my rental car. They are very friendly, personable and professional! Definitely coming back not my next rental.

This location employs a bait and switch approach to reservations.I made my reservation three weeks prior to picking up the car and reserved a standard sized car. This should have given them ample time to ensure my reserved car size was available. When I arrived, they only could offer me an SUV or a luxury car which were a minimum of $16 per day more than what I reserved. My choices were to either pay the daily fee or walk away (literally as my car was in the shop at the time). I asked them to contact me if a cheaper car came available. No one contacted me for the duration of my reservation. I contacted the location (after contacting Hertz and being told I had to speak to the location directly), and the manager had JUST stepped out. I received no return call from the manager.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, since this was an easy and efficient rental process. I have all my info saved in my Hertz gold account, so the friendly employee checked my ID and showed me to my car. He didn’t try to upsell me on collision insurance (FYI your regular auto insurance provides primary coverage on rentals and most credit cards provide secondary coverage) or fuel packages or any of that stuff. I was on the road after just a few minutes. The Chevy Malibu rental car was clean and spacious. The rear seats folded down to fit our ski gear. Only downside was that this 2023 model did not have blind spot monitors on the mirrors (maybe a chip shortage issue), but not a big deal unless you are in a neck brace. I called the branch about returning the car and getting a shuttle to Broomfield to pick up my car from the shop. They directed me to the Broomfield branch, who let me drop off my rental directly at the auto shop for no extra charge and leave the keys with the shop. Super easy! Hertz emailed my receipt a few hours later. If you need a rental for driving in the Front Range (or to the mountains when the roads are clear), I would totally recommend this Hertz branch. If I was driving to the mountains on snowy roads, I would have called ahead about AWD availability. The neighborhood Hertz branches are easy and friendly to rent from, but they have a smaller vehicle inventory than airport locations, and rental cars such as mine get shuffled between branches frequently.

I have rented from Hertz for many years. I thought they were a reputable company.I rented a vehicle from Arvada CO to go to Salt Lake City UT and return back to Arvada.I was prepared to drive it back to Arvada, but I asked the Salt Lake office if they could waive the drop fee. The agent got the general manager. I was told they could waive the fee since they need all the large suv's they can get for ski travelers.I was told my final bill will be around $780 for the 13 days, but when the bill was processed, it was $1744.I called the customer service and then the billing department. I was told that the Salt Lake GM wasn't authorized to waive the drop fee, and it couldn't get refunded.Well, that is a load because I had them waive a drop fee before. I dislike being played! I'm frustrated because I don't see a way out of this!
