Avoid purple colored stuff like a heart attack. Bought a transmission from them, it blew up 50k later. Called them about warranty. Took days to get ahold of someone. After they heard warranty repair the guys tone changed and started back pedaling…. Trying to void warranty…..

1st transmission dead on arrival 0 psi and couldn’t even back the truck out of the shop, second transmission lost all fluid pressure after the first week, company sent new valve body and transmission has the same issue, been in the shop for months, ATS charges a premium for an absolute shit product that they clearly don’t stand behind because they won’t take it back. Only thing worse than the quality control is the product it’s self and if they were the only transmission company left in the world I would buy a horse and carriage. 0/10 do not recommend.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but unfortunately I have not had a good experience with ATS. I bought a truck that was sent in from a dealer/shop to have the transmission and a compound turbo kit installed. The transmission unfortunately completely blew with around 25-30k miles on it. I know these transmissions aren’t super strong but 25k seems awfully low for a built trans. Due to me not being the original purchaser the warranty will not be honored which is unfortunate but I understand. I called on a couple occasions to at least try to get a little insight since they built the transmission but unfortunately I could only get very general information. I replaced the valve body and solenoid pack to no avail so now I’m forced to bring the truck in to a transmission shop here in Salt Lake City and spend thousands. On top of this, I now have a leaky turbo at the same mileage, but they do at least offer rebuild kits for around $220 if I remember correctly.
I’m not here to rip into their warranty because I understand why it won’t be honored but if you are looking for quality work this is probably not the place to dump your money at. (Or pay extra for when purchasing from a dealer/used)

Got the T87 upgrade for my 2014 LML and I am very pleased with the performance definitely a noticeable difference...it's like I got new truck....only issue I have with it truck at times inadvertently goes into tow mode without me pressing button on the shifter. I just push button to take it out of tow mode.

Bought my first ATS product a few weeks ago and it will not be my last! I haven’t been treated this well by any company in a long time!
Let me explain;
My 20 year old turbo crapped out coming over South Pass Wyoming, no big deal it’s 20 years old and we tow a 17500lb fifth wheel traveling the country. So we end up at a small and will remain un named shop in Pinedale. I opted to have an ATS aurora 3000 installed instead of factory.
ATS shipped it and it should land in 2 days, I offered to pay more because I NEEDED it by then but they assured me it would be there. We caught a simple shipping mistake the next day and it would not. ATS overnighted another one immediately AND they paid the freight! That’s not cheap folks but they stepped right up!
After my rinky dink shop installed the turbo 5 freakin days later we we on our way.
I was kind of unimpressed as I expected a little performance gain on an otherwise stock 5.9 Cummins but it was really no different.
Less than 3 weeks and under 800 miles my wife is complaining about exhaust fumes and the exhaust stars screaming.
So we pull off for the night and let things cool down and check it out in the morning. Only one bolt on the outside is still installed (loosely) and BOTH stud nuts on the backside are gone!
Mr rinky dink installer says he installed it on 4 studs and I must have changed it and he’s done with it.
So I called ATS because there clearly isn’t studs in the front so I could get the bolt size I need to make it to a shop. They handled that right away.
After installing the outside bolt is when we discovered there were no nuts on the studs, I called ATS. I explained our situation and asked if we could limp it there and have it cold by morning would they please torque correctly. Despite being slammed with work they agreed.
This morning came and I expected a quick slap on of bolts and retaining nuts and a big parts and labor bill and nearly every other place will give you.
Not here folks! They checked everything out, replaced the gasket and all new hardware and made sure everything was right. Theo even gave me a tour. Pretty impressive shop!
They handed me the key and I asked for my bill.
They said no charge!
They spent a good 3 hour’s labor making sure someone else’s install wasn’t going to screw up my truck and didn’t charge for the new hardware either!
I asked why and was told they want me to enjoy their products. I was floored so I did the very least I could to repay the favor. They even threw in some swag on the way out and EVERYONE was helpful and friendly.
To say I was impressed with the service would be an understatement! Then came a surprise. I stepped onto I-70 pulling out of Arvada grossing 26k and leaned into the throttle on the on ramp.
My truck came alive! Way better throttle response, power and a smile. Who woulda thought these things actually had to be bolted to the manifold correctly to work right?!?

Man, talk about a great company! American made Turbos that perform amazingly. I'm in the process of a pretty substantial overhaul on my Cummins so I figured it'd be wise to have the turbo checked out. It had right at 100k miles on it so I called up ATS to ask about sending it in. Talk about customer service. Kinzie took my call, and handled the communication the whole way through this process. Once ATS received my Turbo, Kinzie called me back the same day, mentioned that the turbo was in perfect condition and that it didn't even warrant a rebuild. I decided I wanted the peace of mind with all that I'm doing to this engine, so they rebuilt it and sent it out the very next morning. From the time I pulled my turbo, to the time it was rebuilt and back on my porch was less than a week. Simply Amazing (I have parts that have been on order for 2 months from other vendors). Long story short, if I ever need a turbo in the future, it'll be purple! Thanks ATS, keep up the excellent work!

Well at this point I have only spoke with Matt and someone who I did not get there name. The most important thing is this is a local company in the around the towns I grew up in I still live in the state. And this is the most important thing to me. So far there knowledge is unequal in comparison with many I talk to. I am a astme certified mechanic from many years ago retired but it never leaves you. I run a small cattle ranch now and must rely on this truck for towing heavy as well as having fun and daily driving. I do all the work on my own vehicles. Most time I need no help but it always helps when dealing with something you do not have experience with. And that's were this company shines they have exp with alli levels of there products. Which means allot. I will write a complete review when I have completed my bessiness with them in the next month or so. Thank you all for being here ready to help. Lonnie lmranch one of our hauled load we try to keep them as light as possible this one was at about 28k a bit heavy but had no issues. When we pull a cattle hauler the weights can get twice this in short order only difference it's a live load.

We have installed a few of the ATS Aurora 3000 stage 1 turbos- on both Ford and Dodge trucks here at the shop. We could not be more pleased with the customer service, fast shipping and of course the turbo performance.
