Our car broke down in Yuba City while heading north on vacation. It happened late Friday afternoon. Two mechanics we visited turned us down as they were closing soon. After calling friends in Chico for advice we tried the master mechanic. The receptionist told us to come on over and they would see about helping us out.
The problem was quickly diagnosed. It turned out we needed parts and nobody locally delivered on Saturday. Steve called Sacramento to source parts on the weekend. He put together a plan and spent the first half of his day off getting us on the road. The car was ready at noon and our vacation was saved!
These are good people. I also chatted with another customer that has had all his German cars maintained at the Master Mechanics over many years. He raved about the quality of work.
The shop even checked in with us a few days later to ensure everything was running well. It certainly was!
Honest, quick, accurate and very accommodating. Also very reasonably priced. We cannot recommended The Master Mechanic enough. For any repair and certainly for European car issues go see the Master Mechanic!

I have a 2012 BMW 325i that just quit starting one morning and it ended up needing a new starter. I’m a school teacher and needed my car the following week for work. Steve was super-fast with the repair and we were able to pick it up the next day. Thank you for not charging an arm and a leg like the dealership wanted. This business is not a 5 star rating . Customer service is horrible, no communication regarding repair . Had my Minnie cooper in his shop for a week & called & stated didn't have time to track down the problem . Why take More business if you can't do the work . Don't take your car to him !

Steve is very honest. I trust him to be upfront with us about our cars. He doesn't BS or try & rip you off. He's a man of his word. The service was great & fast. He's very busy but always delivers on time. Also he always follows up after repairs to see how things are going, which is very much appreciated.

I would definitely recommend these guys to work on your vehicle. I needed a second opinion on a major issue with my vehicle and Steve was right on top of it. I told him what I had done and my thoughts. He confirmed exactly what the cause was and was able to fix it for me very quickly. Thanks Steve for the help. You get what you pay for and these guys are worth your money.

Steve and Tiffany are simply the best of the best. Faced w an issue on our Fiat tow car the Fiat dealer said they were two weeks out for service. 8-10 other shops said no way. Steve said bring it in, ran diagnostics, had parts delivered within the hour, installed and running in another hour. This is what is missing in much of today’s business world.

This is great shop they do Honest work. Steve has worked on my car a few times for maintenance and things. They are always friendly and he came highly recommended. I called him again recently because when the heat wave came my a/c went out. He got me in the same day and had it fixed in about a hour. Now my car is so cold I have to turn the a/c down. Great service car is working great. (Car vw tiguan)
