Went in to browse and found a necklace that I like so had to buy it. Paid with my card at one register that glitches so had to move to another register to complete the sale Before I even got out of the parking lot got an alert saying I was charged twice. Went back in to show the cashier who by the way needs a refresher on positive customer service and how to be nice to people in general. Anyways she called Celeste the manager who was fine at first until she went to the office to check something regarding the transaction. Almost 20 min later when I asked if she was on her way back or should I come back tmrw the associate called her and she was instructed to have me talk to her over the phone and tells me she doesnt see a double charge and its probably my banks mistake. Said it should take 2 to 3 days to show fixed on my online acct. In my opinion the 2 ladies, associate and manager demonstrated minimal customer service which is sad cause I use to go to JC Penny's because the associates were always great and helpful.

I went to the salon to get my hair colored.. Angie was amazing, very detailed oriented, I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

New employees on floor not very helpful they are learning. Low staffing, long lines at cashiering out. They need a lot of more staffing. Only real help I got was from a cashier. Not good for JC Penney if i need to shop quickly and get out. Also customers upon checking out not obeying 6 ft covid rule and no sanitation cleaning between customers at checkout counters. Be safe

Clean & organized store. Employees are friendly with happy smiles. Employees that I was near me, ask if I needed assistance. This store is outstanding with a customer oriented relationship.

I'm disappointed that the retail clerks no longer go above and beyond to find a price when no price is on an item, no longer check my rewards, unless I ask them and act like they would rather keep talking to their co-worker than to assist the customer. I shop at the Yuba City, CA JCPenney. Customer Service training should come back if it can be provided. Not sure if training is a budget expense that has been slashed from the operating costs.

I love shopping at JC Penneys. I have always been a loyal customer. I cam always find a great deal here. I bought two pair of tennis shoes and they were a better price than famous footwear. I hope that people read this post because Penneys needs your support to stay open.
