“Thomas Automotive Repair was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about them and their service! In October 2023, I brought my car into Audi Rocklin (where I purchased my vehicle), because it felt like the transmission was slipping when the gears shifted as I accelerated. Audi Rocklin kept the car for five business days. At the end, they said they found nothing and no problem with the transmission and/or any other reasons for the gear slipping. They were also unable to replicate the experience I had with the car. They returned the car and charged me $245 (and change) for the diagnostic, as well as the cost of gas for an Audi SUV loaner car (more expensive gas usage than my car). I continued to drive my car and experienced the same gear "slipping" experience while accelerating. After two more weeks, it seemed to be getting worse, so I took it to Thomas Automotive Repair in Yuba City. Within four hours, the automotive technician diagnosed the problem and fixed it. My car runs like new! The problem turned out to be with the spark plugs. They were all miss-firing and one of them was badly damaged.Thomas Automotive Repair not only fixed the problem (the same day I took the car in), but they also took photos of the damaged spark plugs, gave the actual spark plugs to me, and explained in detail the problem and how they fixed it. I must say, I was very impressed; and so was my brother-in-law (who owns an auto repair shop in San Francisco) when I showed him all that Thomas Automotive did. So glad it wasn't the transmission (Phew!). I'm definitely taking my car to Thomas Automotive Repair from now on. Thank you so much!!”
“A friend of mine from another local business recommended this shop. I have a really hard time taking my vehicle anywhere because of past experiences.I stopped in to see how much a diagnostic would cost for a noise that My vehicle was making. They said 125 and that was cheaper than anywhere I had checked by a $100. Alright I like a deal. I went ahead and went with them. The morning I dropped it off I went ahead and checked about some transmission fluid services. I knew the vehicle needed to be done. He definitely knew what he was talking about. Anything that he thought was questionable he checked the computer system and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and didn't need to be done. He definitely didn't try to suggest anything that was gonna cost me more money that wasn't necessary. The diagnostic process included taking the part out that was defective to check it. He called me to let me know what was going on and how much the part was. He told me labor fees weren't necessary because they had already had the part out. Another something he could have charged me for but did. It really just comes down to honesty and integrity.I really appreciate all of the help. l'm very thankful for you answering all of my questions. I've never had a car past a 120000 miles so there's a lot of maintenance that I've never had to do. Thank you for being very informative and letting me know what did need done, didn't need done, and what should be checked”

“Don is extremely knowledgeable and was a tremendous help diagnosing the problem.I was 600 miles from home towing a 24' travel trailer when my box grenaded.They let me park up and "camp out" until I could get rescued.He was straightforward with what the problems were and what it was going to cost. It wasn't going to be cheap but I felt it was going to be done right.I left the truck there and went on down the road to my final destination. “*Professional *honest and informative* *fast and affordable I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I came to Superior Auto Repair to price some front end work after colliding into a median wall going over the bridge. After a hard impact I was surprised to see only a few deep scuffs on the fenders of the drivers side. So I kept on driving.. By the end of the week my two front tires were showing steel belts and wobbling something fierce. I was dreading an expensive repair. MIke at Superior let me know that it could need a whole new rack and pinion = $$$$$$ or they could try and align it but warned it maybe to damaged to stay aligned$$ I choose to try to the second option. Now after a month of hard daily driving my car handles like She was new still. Superior saved my money and had me back on the road in no time with work i felt confident about. “My AC was not working and was blowing warm air. My uncle recommended me to come to Legacy Autowerks. The guy who helped me was Paul. Super friendly nice guy. He was able to find out the problem with my car and why my AC wasn't running. After finding out the problem he got the parts I needed and fixed it 5 days later, could have been sooner but I chose to wait. My AC now runs like new and back to how it use to run. “This place came highly recommended. I read the reviews and I’m so sad for the negative review on the person that didn’t call you guys back on a warranty job ?Duhhh. And then give a bad review. Childish…….My friend Garry. C recommended me, has a red ford explorer that wouldn’t start for weeks. A friend tried to work on it and it still didn’t start. He had it towed there. Then… jokes on my friend that I’m blasting .. hahaha the automotive place returned his call and said it’s just fine sir. It starts great and they even kept it a day to make sure! They all laughed about it. (It sat in the driveway 3 weeks not starting) Massey automotive disconnected the battery and reconnected it and it still started perfect. Bottom line they spent time on it AND NO CHARGE was given to my friend. That’s LOYALTY!! He’s a senior citizen that has a disability and fixed income. Kudos to Masseys kindness.So it’s Saturday July 2nd 8pm & I left a voicemail to get help with my knock sensor that’s shot, I hope. I purchased the part and hopefully will get to see them this week after the holiday. The price quote of $300 was to much for me from Wheeler so crossing my fingers. I’m giving these guys a shot. “We just took our 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 4X4 to this shop after shopping tires at almost every location in Yuba City and Live Oak Ca. The customer service was outstanding and the service provided was excellent. We had an alignment, brand new 4 tires, and the brakes done for under 750$. The whole process took an hour and a half from the time we arrived there. The prices is unbeatable at any location including Walmart. “I had fire damage in the compartment adjacent to my rv house batteries that connected to the vehicle alternator. I called all over and the rv techs didn’t want to touch it because it was connected to the truck engine and the auto mechanics didn’t want to touch it because it was connected to the camper. I drove in to Commercial Electric on a recommendation and Juan took the schematics I offered and went right to work. Three hours later I had a functioning rig again.
