This is the Yolo County Policy on masks: "Face coverings are required for everyone in indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status in Yolo County." On 1/29/22, three employees and one manager shared with me that Home Depot Woodland is not enforcing this policy. As I shopped, I came upon four customers unmasked in close proximity to me and that I needed to actively avoid. Two of the four were being helped, and so in very close proximity for a period of time with HomeDepot employees. Employees shouldn't have to serve people who expect assistance but won't extend a basic courtesy to those serving them. One older gentleman without a mask tried to get one at the south entrance mask/sanitation station, but there weren't any in the box and so he proceeded into the store. It should be the case that an elderly person who wants to wear a mask can get one. Yolo County's dashboard for Community Transmission is: HIGH. No law in CA prevents HD from acting to protect its paying customers and employees from those who don't want to help end the pandemic. I'll keep shopping on Amazon. Sorry HD, you lost me.

I mean, it's Home Depot. My main gripe is that it can often seem like floor employees are avoiding you. I hate having to hunt down sales associates. That said, it's much easier to just use the app and wait curbside.

My husband went in to purchase a shop-vac today and was followed around by one lady and then when he went to check out at the self check out and done ringing up his items and a young lady comes zooming over from another register and loudly says "don't forgot to scan those items, DONT forget to get thosseee"; then my husband advised her that he did scan the items and showed her the monitor/screen, she then walks away without saying a word or apologizing. The same associate waited for my husband to walk away and then checked to see on his monitor what items he scanned, didn't even wait for him to leave the store. I called and spoke with the manager on duty Ashley and explained the situation to her and she didn't have much to say other than she will talk to her team. I will not continue taking our business to a place that treats you like this. Our account with them will be canceled.

This Home Depot in Woodland is not as busy as those in Sacramento. I'm here to pick up an online order item I needed it right away but it was out of stock at all the stores in Sacramento. The store is very clean and seems very organized. The employee at customer service is nice and very respectful. One thing I like at this store is the online store pick-up items are in the computer touched screen controlled lockboxes outside of the store if the sizes are fit in the boxes. Make it very convenient for the online order pick up. One of the problems I have is not related to the store. But both Google and Apple navigation system is lead me to the back of the building. But this Home Depot has blocked the driveway between the front and back parking lot. I have to drive my car for a big circle back to the main street before I can get into the front parking lot with the customer entrance! Very inconvenient!

I'm not the type of person that has high expectations when it comes to customer service nor am I a hard person to please, yet somehow this place still disappoints me....like I get it....working on a minimum wage sucks, but it's something most of us have done at one point or another in our lives, especially when we were younger. Let me start off by saying that this review is directed at this individual Home Depot and the issue lays almost exclusively with the younger employees here; also, I'm a young man below the age of 30, so it's not like I'm doing one of those "the youth these days" type rants. With that said, the younger employees at this place are UNBELIEVABLE, in fact it's actually quite impressive how they can act the way they do and not get fired. Typically I make a trip to this Home Depot about once a week (out of necessity) but lately it's been multiple times a week for a home improvement project. The younger employees talk about inappropriate crap within ear's shot of customers, they walk around on their cell phones CONSTANTLY, and attempt to avoid you when you appear to need help....they do this by avoiding aisles with customers and do an about-face when they see you as they come around the corner of the aisle's end (I've seen this happen SO often). When you ACTUALLY do get one of them to help you, (USUALLY by speed walking towards them as they are walking away) they act SUPER inconvenienced and annoyed and they don't even try to make an attempt to hide it. There are a few noticeable exceptions, not every young person that works here is bad, the young woman in the fastener aisle is always working hard and I've seen her go out of her way to help people as well as help me multiple times. The younger employees in the Gardening section are likewise pretty good. But for the most part it's a total ****show here, I get that it's hard to hold onto employees during this whole COVID thing, but these managers really need to have a chat with their younger employees that they oversee. What a joke

Getting help was the most difficult part of my trip. I needed help with flooring I was trying to install and needed equipment for that. I asked THREE employees, one who started to help me then completely left to help another customer without fulfilling my request . It was so infuriating that none of them assisted us. Then we got help from an employee named Kevin. HE SAVED US. Was so professional and showed us to all the supplies we needed and even went above and beyond asking us if we had additional pieces of equipment we could have possibly needed. Thank you Kevin for being the only helpful employee at Home Depot.

Went to this place to buy artificial grass for our backyard. One of the representative said we have to wait. So we waited for 15 minutes to have someone assisted us. But the wait it's worth it. Jordan is very helpful she's very knowledgeable with everything. They need more people like her. Excellent Service Jordan, very friendly and helpful. Appreciated!

We have been purchasing from the Woodland Home Depot for over a decade. The first purchase were just some small HVAC vents now it could be roofing or lumber, hardware, etc. The keep their place well stocked and the team there works hard to take care of our needs.

The first time that I went to the Home Depot in woodland it was nearly 10 years ago for some a/c vents. Since then we have purchased tens of thousands of dollars of materials from them from hand tools, lumber, piping, tile, light fixtures, etc. along with every screw and nail they carry. This particular Home Depot stays well stocked and the staff has always been helpful to us whether it was a pick up in a hurry or a large ordered delivery. We appreciate the people there from all aspects, whether it is someone working the floor, a person behind the counter, as well as management and how they run their operation.

my father is very old. he ordered the same microwave that he already had and paid for install. install crew came and said they could not install because of screw size. So so my stubborn father tried to install himself. Now the stove is broken and 4 kids under the age of 6 need to eat delivery pizza because we can't cook in this house. Same microwave same screws right. now have to get a stove too because people don't do their job. This is why we paid extra, not to have problems. At least the lady on the phone was nice hope it all gets worked out and will give more stars if everything gets fixed to where we paid extra for.

Multiple people not wearing masks and staff did not ask them to mask up or enforce store policy, including a customer service employee working with a customer who was not wearing a mask. I just walked out.

I've been to this Home Depot a number of times. It's your typical HD, they have what you expect them to have and the service is decent.
