I have traveled the world for 4 years and you can see my profile I leave reviews all over the world and have only left 10 one star reviews. My experience and excitement of owning and becoming part of the FWC family: beyond disappointing. Here’s what happened Step by step.1) private purchase 2011 Fleet shell, custom build2) owner set up the install took 7 phone calls to Brenda to do3) day before the install Brenda calls me with 3 concerns for the install 1) the current install of the diesel heater exhaust will not fit the bed properly 2) the wiring was upgraded from original FWC wiring from 10 to 4 gauge and they cannot touch it and 3) quoted $1,000 for the Toyota Tacoma specific install kit, I would need to pay and additional $400 for slats to clear my bed rails. When I asked for further information on the slats they are just 2x4s. One would think a thousand dollar install kit specific for your truck would include that. I talked to the previous owner and he supplied the boardsDay of install. We walk around the entire camper, being that it is a 2011 I ask if there is anything on the camper that should be upgraded to todays standards or replaced. I’m new here, I have no idea. She says no, but for traveling full time it would be a good idea to have extra fuses and turnbuckles.Install proceeds, I don’t need the solar hooked to the battery at the moment. I explain I am having a Bowen Bed installed in two months and being that’s it’s 100+ degrees each day here in California I am obviously not going to be using the diesel heater.Brenda continues to explain the diesel heater and gas/water canisters mounted between the camper and cab won’t fit. I am thinking okay, let’s find a solution to avoid touching said liabilities so I can leave with the camper the way I purchased it.We find a middle ground to remount the exhaust, it clears the width of the bed no problem. We remove the gas and water containers and agree to zip tie the diesel line inside the bed and cap the canister so it can easily be reattached.I go to the waiting room and message another employee — he immediately sendstwo videos with a solution — being a 2011 the bumper are old and could be changed to the bumpers currently used which would allow the space for the gas / water canisters to stay as purchased as well as leaving the heater and diesel line in place as is, avoiding all liability.I go back out, Brenda instructed them to separate the diesel line and not the way I consented to.I present the information given to me and Brenda stated verbatim, “that would cost you hundreds of dollars” I sigh yeah well you tried to charge me $400 for 4 2x4s so probably.Camper gets installed, gas / water canisters at the rear, exposing them to the sun and when an employee attempted to wrap the diesel heater (because she had them dismount it) she said no, it’s a liability. But dismounting it and leaving it hang to bang around it is not?Brenda prepares my invoice and I ask about the bumpers. It is 1425 and she says well we can sell you the bumpers but it’s to late in the day to install them. Five minutes later she returns with the bumpers and the invoice. FOURTY FIVE DOLLARS. 45 !!! Unbelievable. So she lied when she said hundreds and created this disaster.I pay and leave.Arrive home to find the diesel line is leaking fuel. Great.Send and email and ask for a bumper install date. Mind you I am traveling full time. I do not live here or even in the state. I barely live in the country. No answer. I call 24 hours later. They can install next Wednesday, 7 days out PLUS pay for labor. Her recommendation for the diesel is to dump it out or go to the gas station and see if anyone wants it … seriously? She calls me back suggesting I drive (120 miles) to Reno because I might upgrade the solar and he can KP install the bumpers?1 week later, uninstall camper, Install bumpers, move gas/water back to the front, replace with the original bolts. No charge on day of, discovered they broke the leveling tool when they put the tanks on the back.Worst experience ever.

LOVE....We bought a 2022 Hawk, Used a few times. The heater wouldn't work and FWC changed it out for us. It works great now!We thought we needed more battery but they diagnosed it quickly and saved us a ton of money. We love their campers and customer service is excellent. Worth every penny.

After waiting 15 months to receive my camper and paying for it, the factory will not return any of my emails. I bought the Grandby Shell model so I could finish the inside like I wanted. I asked basic questions about wiring diagrams and where I could drill thru the outside shell to add connections. The outside seems well built but the interior cabinets are cheap. Hopefully I can upgrade this camper to my standards.

Not too thrilled that I spent $16k on a project m camper to find out how poorly it was put together. Concept is a great idea but with the price and time I waited for this camper I truly am disappointed with the craftsmanship. I highly suggest going over the whole thing and make sure bolts are tightened and windows secure. I made a list of things that I had to fix for reference.-Bolts loose on stationary jack mounts-Shelfs had loose bolts-Wiring to the battery came undone-Small driver side window wasn’t sealed and had a huge gap.-Never shown how to operate the fan-Camper bolts to bed rail were loose-Broken bolts not removed and fixed-Rippling in plastic sheeting due to bolts being installed sideways-They only give you two extension plates for jacks-Sliding screen was loose and had a dented track. Had to adjust

Went to add on a rack to the top of the camper months before it would be ready for delivery. Cost of rack was $1500.00 on top of the $36K price tag. I found the $250.00 change order to be a bit ridiculous. Maybe management should think about bending me over for another $250 to screw in a rack instead of screwing me.

We loved our 2003 used Eagle and decided to buy a new Hawk. We had an unattached propane line to the water heater and a broken shower mixing valve before using the camper. Now on the road our bedding is soaked from a large leak in the roof during a rain storm. What next in our new $33K Hawk? VERY DISAPPOINTED & DISSATISFIED.
