Not great experience. We ordered the wine for local pick up and realised we could not make it to there on time and had to cancel within hours placing the order. Reached out to customer service a few times, no response at all till we finally called. They agreed to cancel but had to charge us a hefty fee for restocking.....would not recommend the place, period.

We recently had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting at the shop, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The store itself boasts a fantastic variety of wines, and the staff’s knowledge truly enhanced our visit. The wine tasting added a wonderful dimension to our appreciation of their selection. We loved every moment and are looking forward to many more visits. Cheers to great wine and great times!

WHW consistently delivers the best wine shop experience in the Los Angeles area period. Their staff are second to none in both knowledge and customer service. Literally every human being I come into contact with at WHW is a solid human being. Their prices are generally better than everyone else's due to their propensity to import directly from the winery. The selection of wine is also incredible. If you haven't gone here for wine or spirits you're truly missing out.

The place feels a little cold compared to other wine shops in the area. I can’t say the staff has been exceedingly helpful when I’ve come in. They tend to lean towards higher priced wines, and although they have a nice selection, I think they take their audience for granted.

I order a substantial amount of wine online and would never use this company again. My problems started when I ordered a half case pre-arrival and didn’t hear back from them past the expected arrival time. I contacted them and, in fact, my wine was sitting there. No one bothered to tell me and I wondered, would they ever have? Secondly, a second 6 bottle order arrived and when they went to ship, I was told they only had 5 bottles. I was offered a refund but chose to wait another 4-5 months for the bottle to arrive. It finally did, and I called to change my shipping address as I was leaving out of the country and was fast approaching the closing of my shipping window out of state. I also emailed the new shipping address to their shipping department. Sadly, neither person updated the address and they attempted delivery when I was already gone. I had to contact them by phone while waiting for my flight to take off to have them ship it to the proper address. It finally arrived today, months after it should have and the experience was a considerable pain in the you know what!

Love this shop they are the experts in wine and 95% of their prices are significantly better than the other shops in the US. They get amazing things in - look for their emails they really go above and beyond with their email program and it's one of the few subscriptions I enjoy getting. Now the tastings are back in their shop too.

WHWC has an excellent selection of wines, especially if you're into Burgundy. In addition to current-ish releases (within the 2-3 vintages of the current release), they also have some older back catalog stuff, which is always interesting to try if you don't have the patience to buy and store the wines yourself. The wines are laid our reasonably well so it's pretty easy to find what you need, though I will say their largest selection (their French wines) aren't as well organized. The Burgundy section wasn't arranged by region/sub-region nor was it alphabetical. Thankfully, the very helpful staff will help you find what you need. I found it much easier to use their website to find the wines and then to simply ask them to locate them. They also have many wines that aren't on display, so using the website is almost always better. I believe you can even place orders for pickup and they'll be conveniently picked/packed for you when you arrive. WHWC also has a nice parking lot in the back, which makes it very easy to shop in person. I haven't had a chance to order anything shipped yet, but may give it a try in the future!

Attended Molly Dooker tasting event at WHW. Such a great experience. Luke, son of the winemaker, did the presentation, and he was as entertaining as he was serious about wine. The wines, of course, were sensational, and the group of people who attended were all very social. Great evening.

I'm so glad to have discovered WHWC. They have a great selection of tough to find Spirits and solid selection of craft beer, they don't just sell wine. I have interacted with both Ryan and Ben, both of whom are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They know their stuff when it comes to spirits. I was on the hunt for a specific type of tequila that I could not find anywhere else without being gouged. I walked in one night and asked for the said tequila and it was dropped in my lap at a fair price. I have since been frequenting them for gifts.

I like this store for picking up gifts for the wine connoisseurs in my life. The staff is very knowledgeable, they make recommendations that won't break your budget. Also, they are very passionate (we're talking Barry White passionate!) about their products. They also carry hard liquor as well as the wine, so stop in. Also, this is a small business, and for the Devil Dogs who might be reading this, they're pro USMC as evidenced by the flag in front.

What a wonderful wine store, such friendly knowledgeable staff!! The wine selection is amazing and the website has so much to chooses from too!
