When Larry ran the place my taxes were correct and he saved us money. He sold the business without telling us and the new guy used Larry's name and email to communicate with us, which was deceptive. We knew something was off right away because he used a lot of pop culture slang that Larry never used and we wondered why Larry had changed his speech patterns. The new guy didn't even look at my previous year's taxes but told me I didn't qualify for a traditional IRA. I had to send him the IRS code that showed that I did qualify for it. He also messed up the stuff with the stimulus checks, claiming we were entitled to more than we were and the IRS sent us a letter explaining how much we were entitled to get and that our taxes had been filled out incorrectly.

Business was sold to another individual in 2020. We only found out at the beginning of 2021 as "Larry's" office was preparing our 2020 tax return. There were multiple mistakes and omissions that I found during my review of our tax return (like thousands of dollars in mistakes). After a few rounds of back and forth questions, we called the office to find out Larry no longer owned the business. We had been clients of Larry's for years. I don't know why we were not notified that Larry sold his business. Really a strange way to do business.

Larry and Sandi have been doing my tax prep for years now. I have happily referred them to friends and family. Larry is great with the entertainment industry and multiple W2s from multiple companies and working in multiple states. My sister continues to use Larry's services long after leaving California for Illinois and most recently Colorado. I couldn't trust my taxes with anyone else.
