“Was there on Friday, 16th June, 2023, at 5:00pm and the store was open. Entered the store of diverse antiques and collectibles. I enjoyed the variety of items available and my friend and I did make some nice fun purchases. The gentleman that helped us mentioned that they hadn't been opened much this year but were going to try to have regular week day later afternoon hours and some on the weekend. There are two phone numbers listed on Google maps. Not sure if the numbers are active or answered. We were at King Richard's Antique Mall, Whittier, CA, that Friday afternoon and this shop is just north about three blocks. Enjoy!”

“Julie was such a pleasure! I loved walking in here and seeing how organized it is. The store is small but has a great variety. I appreciate that the clothes/books are just one set price. That allows me to just shop and browse the clothes with pleasure knowing the price. The selection varies but it is still a cute shop to add to your thrifting day. Cheaper than goodwill and I love to support a local business. They have beauty supplies, jewelry, kitchen supplies, clothing, paintings, books. Lovey little shop and you ring the bell once you are ready. Love that aspect because so I get to shop with ease. Also loved the student discount and the care that was put into wrapping up my mug! It was my first time here and I would gladly come back.”

“I really like this place and when they have a sale it's fantastic. You really have to look hard and long for the right thing, but likely you will find it. If not the people there are very helpful. Today there was one young lady that was very helpful in assisting me to find the right frames for my house.”

“I almost don't want to leave a review hahaha. This is one of my honey holes!! I always find gems. It's small and Jack packed full of treasures!! Over the years it has become more like ik visiting family. They r sooo lovely..family run and a great cause, all in donations!! I wish I could give them more stars. I have a select few I tell about this very special spot but I feel they need the recognition for all their hard work. Luv u guys!!!”

“Best thrift store in the area, hands down. Tons of new merchandise and good brands. I always find something amazing when I come. The staff is also always so kind and unbelievably helpful! There was a pair of pants that wasn’t priced and unfortunately they couldn’t sell them, I came back the next day to try and find them and couldn’t. Connie found them right away just off of my description! I’m so happy to have found such a great spot near me. Thanks!”

“I stopped shopping at GW years ago when they raised their prices. But, I recently moved and there aren't many thrift stores at my new location. I decided to give GW another try. I've been to several since I moved, and this one has been my favorite. The people who work here are helpful and kind. Except for today. I was sitting on a chair next to a sofa with a cart full of clothes. I took the clothes from the cart and started to separate them on the sofa into piles of definitely buying and a maybe pile. As I checked the clothes for damages, an older lady employee was picking up the toy section, and I assume she was angry with the mess she was picking up. When she suddenly and without any reason turned to me and saw a few items of clothing on the sofa that I was still going through. She Angrily said, "Oh no, what's that on the sofa? Is that yours?" I said yes, they're mine. She asked again if they were mine. Again, I said yes. Then she very angrily said, "Well, don't leave them there, put them back where you got them!" I said I always do. She said people just leave stuff everywhere. I told her, "Not me, I don't do that." Then she walked away, mumbling something under her breath. That lady, though elderly herself, needs training. If she was worried about me causing her more work to do she could have come up to me and politely in a nicer tone asked me to please return the merchandise to it's rightful place instead of yelling at me from the toy section more than 6 feet away. That ruined my whole visit to this GW. I couldn't believe how nasty she was to me without any reason. I'm not a child nor an idiot for her to treat me that way. I could understand had I been walking away from the area and leaving items there for someone else to pick up, but I never do that. I always take the items back to where I got them. Not only do I do that, but I put clothes back on hangers that other people just toss over the racks or drop on the floor. I take the hangers off the clothes that I'm buying and go to the register and put them on the rack the cashier has there. I am almost 70 years old. How dare her treat a customer like that. She has anger issues, She has no right to speak to anyone like that. I would have asked for a manager when I checked out, but I forgot to.”

“I recently moved to this area, I loved the Assistance League Thrift Store from my previous home in West Covina so I thought I'd try this one out. As expected the prices were great, unlike other chain thrift stores nowadays, and the designer brands are there. It's half the size of the other location, BUT don't let that stop you from looking. Great finds, I will be going back in time for Halloween decorations. Highly recommend!”
