run the other way and fast!!! from the pet hotel service, i should have reviewed them on yelp before hand. 1. zero stars for poor customer service. got the run around about how busy they were with in-store customers 2. placing customers on hold for over 20 minutes is unnaceptable by any standards in the industry. making excuses is adding insult to injury. 3. all phone numbers listed on website leads to the same menu wait time is over 20 minutes no matter what time you call. 4. you can't cancel reservations on-line. 5. the lack of leadership is apparent with this company.

Don't trust these people. Seriously do trust them. Their information get mixed up, get cancelled less than 24hrs before check - in, and the associates are not trained properly. Don't leave your pet with them

DO NOT ADOPT KITTENS FROM PET SMART. They had an adoption event and we filled out the paper work and then waited for over an hour. The lady saw us waiting and avoided us the entire time. After waiting for an hour and a half she finally decided to let us know we needed to be 21 to adopt. I think her name was Beth, she extremely rude and didn't know how to run an event.

Cat adoption available here, lil pricey on the adoptions, weekends are busy with lots of kittys, it is nice just to visit during the week. Nice staff and store.

We brought our cat Marvelous Marvie to the Petsmart Hotel in Whittier when we went on a several day vacation recently. She is a very shy and sweet 3 year old cat. The facility is very bright and clean and well staffed with very upbeat and friendly people, most of whom are probably pet owners themselves. After we checked Marvie in, they sent us texts and photos showing her in her "Kitty Cottage" and really showed they cared. Marvie had never been away from home and didn't eat much or "do her business" by the second day. They take no chances there, and called us on the cell to let us know, if that didn't change by the next day, they would take her to the Banfield Vet clinic on premises. They ended up having to do that, but the vet cleared Marvie for being hydrated and she started eating and doing her "business". The staff played with her and petted her and gave her attention, so that by the end of the stay, she was getting comfortable there. We were very pleasantly surprised when we picked up Marvie to learn that there was no charge for the visit to the vet.

Boarded my two dogs for a week, 1 of my dogs came home with kennel cough. They referred me to a local vet in Whittier which quoted me $1,300 for treating my dogs. PetSmart offered to only cover the office visit. Will never board my dogs at PetSmart again.

I came here to buy a bird and when I received it. It was dead in the small little box it came in and when I tried to return it this b**** named Mia pip slapped me and tossed the dead bird at me if I could give a 0 stars I would shame on you pet smart

Fun pet friendly store to visit. Always fun to see the dogs at the daycare or the cats up for adoption. Have to say hi to the hamsters too

Aileen Protsman lifted all the big boxes off the shelves for me, then she put everything up for the cashier, then back in the cart and finally she loaded the items in my car. I am a 73 year old great grandmother with a painful sciatica so words cannot convey how much I appreciate Aileen’s incredible customer service dedication. I have never been to a Petsmart and not had great customer service but today was the very best! I can hardly wait to call corporate to share how great Aileen was today.

This is for the GROOMING only. Nope. Brought my pup here at 10:45am (ish), called at 1:47pm to ask for an update & they said my dog was just getting finished up. So realistically he was in a crate most of the morning. My dog is 10lbs but the woman who initially took him didn't want to pick him up? Instead dragged him by their leash (leash around his neck) behind the counter. He was panting and out of breath when i got him back, downed water like he was dying. I wonder how hot it was back where he was and if any water was offered. Never bringing him back again, thankful that he's okay. I also stupidly let myself be up-sold on a different package than what i originally booked. Somehow $24 turned into $49 real fast. JUST CHECKED ALL HIS PAWS & THEY WENT WAY TOO DEEP AND MANAGED TO GIVE HIM A HANG NAIL. I cut the nail before i took photos, i should've waited but i wanted it gone. How does something like this happen when i PAID EXTRA to have his nails grinded down??? I'm livid. I knew the people working there had no idea what they were doing.

Our closest pet store so we visit often. Always clean and well organized store. They offer boarding and daycare for your dogs. We have used both on occasion.
