BRAVO to employee anthony rodriguez!!! If no one else says it I WILL. This young man exhibited courage that is hard to find especially here in the state of CA. I was present yesterday 2/14 at 1pm. This cvs employee Anthony went above and beyond to apprehend a shoplifting suspect. He used force to stop them from leaving and actually snatched some of the items they were attempting to walk out with from their hands. You should have seen him, he put his whole body on the suspect and didn't allow them to move until they had forfeited the merchandise. He was not letting go of the criminal at all it was awesome. Thankfully even followed them out to capture license plate. I would have helped him hold the thief down but I am a retied veteran, It would have been nice if his coworker showed the same enthusiasm for putting a stop to the criminal at all costs but she just continued helping customers. I as one who despises thieves was pleasantly surprised to see that this store has a no tolerance policy and is not afraid to get physical with the culprit and apprehend if needed even if it was for a few items. Too many others stores in CA are turning a blind eye to this behavior but not this one. Give the man a raise asap!!I will be emailing corporate and will not rest until I can speak to someone about this gentleman deserving a pay increase. Unfortunately cops never showed. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE ANTHONY RODRIGUEZ, keeping whittier a safer place!

I went to get my RSV and TDaP shots yesterday 12/24 at this CVS, who we switched all of my family's prescriptions to from Rite Aid, who had been giving us a lot of trouble. The woman there who gave me my shot, Zoey Le, was very nice, personable, and professional, and it didn't hurt at all when she gave the shot. Even though she was filling in for someone at our location, I wish she stays here. She deserves a promotion!

CVS would not honor one of THEIR own coupons for one of THEIR own products. See their product and coupon in the pic. Pain relief, CVS Health, all the matching descriptions for the product seems to be there, but that wasn't enough to get them to honor their own coupon at the check out. Took the coupon to one of their competitor's and it was honored. No hassle, NO QUESTIONS asked. I guess my new routine will be to print my coupons out at CVS and take them somewhere else where they will be accepted.

Worst pharmacy ever. Bunch of lazies work here. They have nothing youre looking for. This one lady was working at the pick up line i walked up she said "wait until I call you up" I laughed and went back to the line and as soon as I got there she calls me up. I waited she said next and I said I will wait for the other line. F her.

Went in for eye drops prescription for my allergies & the pharmacy tech ZOEY who works there was extremely rude. I am hard of hearing & she was talking low I couldn't hear her. When she kept having to repeat herself & I apologized and told her I am hard of hearing she rolled her eyes at me. The eye drops prescription I needed was out of stock it was back ordered due to manufacture issue. I went to CVS at target(same plaza) and the pharmacy tech was much much more nice to me. She is the one who explained to me that the eye drops were back ordered, and that she can still fill in the prescription for me but she wouldn't be able to give me a date or time when it would be ready. Which is fine, she provided outstanding service. Zoey from CVS on Whittier Blvd l(not in Target) did not even give me the option to fill prescription she just gave me back my prescription and told me they were out of stock. Zoey should not be working in a pharmacy with sick patients. No empathy what so ever.

I came to pick up emergency medication for a surgery I just got. I recently had my car stolen a week ago, in my car was a new MacBook, ID, debit cards, my work laptop and my medications. My doctors RE ordered it by emergency the Pharmacist assistant ANNA gave me attitude and refused to give me my medication with a photo ID after I explained multiple times I have a police report proving it she asked two people and they all declined to give me my medication without my Id. They wouldn’t even let my girlfriend pick up my medication. Because of this I now have to go another day without my antibiotics and my pain meds. Ana told me “ we’ll if this has been an issue with no ID before you should no you can’t come here with out one” lady, did I not just explain it was stolen from me?

Just switched to this pharmacy since the other major pharmacy near me is always out of my daughter's common asthma meds. Beware that this location closes for lunch! I get daily texts reminding me to pickup my prescription, and when I finally get here they tell me they're closed for lunch for an hour. Neither the front door nor online is there anything that clearly states they are closed from 12:30-1:30. Very inconvenient.

Always check around to different pharmacies for prices. Some of my meds were not covered by my insurance. And CVS prices were high. I asked if they had any coupons from manufacturer that applied. They said NO. After being referred by my doctor to Medella Pharmacy in Downey, that person did say they have manufacturer coupons, and it was 50% the price quoted by CVS!!! Call around people. Don’t take CVS word like the Bible. And customer service at Medella Pharmacy awesome! Press 3, and you get someone in the pharmacy within 1-2 minutes! CVS can be an eternal hold!

Giving this store 1 star because I had to select something. This store is kept in business from its community and their ability to provide medication to the public. The fact that they don't recognize this and have the decency to allow people to use the restroom is absolutely ridiculous. I almost understand during Covid but as of June, 2023 come on now. It honestly feels like they pick and choose when they won't be lazy and will allow someone to use the restroom. Then they act like it's a huge ordeal. Note to self CVS pharmacy, I wouldn't be asking if I didn't have to go!

Similar to others review, this CVS is the very worst. I called to order an Rx already in place from my primary. They told me it would be ready in an hour. I go to the drive through pharmacy not ready. We called later and get told they ran out of the Rx; to come back after 12:00pm the next day. I come back today - next day - at 3:00pm and not ready and could not find the Rx found the previous day. I spoke directly with the Pharmacist and he told me to come back in 20 minute. This pharmacy is the very worst and totally mismanaged and should be given to another pharmacy such Rite Aid or Walgreen.
