Used to go here every Saturday 6:00am for groceries. Now with self checkout unavailable until 10:00 I go to Winco. Walmart checkouts are set up with a bag carousel. If you bring your own bag, the items pile up on that tiny platform. Lame tactic to sell their bags. Winco standard checkouts have dual conveyor belts for easier self bagging without holding up the line. Forget Walmart. Go to Winco.

Maria in the Bakery department was incredible. She went the extra mile to make the cake I ordered online and made great suggestions, kept me in touch along the way with great attention to detail. Order completely quickly as well. Thank you, Maria!

On February 15, 2024 I went to a national chain to get free air put in my tires. The young man told me three of my tires needed to be replaced. On February 16 I went to the super Walmart in West Sacramento. I didn’t have an appointment. The counterperson was James and he was very helpful. He showed me their inventory of tires that would fit my car. They only had two of the three tires I was told I needed. I decided to purchase two new tires and would come back for the third the following Monday when they got new inventory. I sat for maybe about 30 minutes and James came back and said William the tire technician wanted to speak to me. I was only thinking the worst. William asked me why I wanted my tires replaced when they were fine. Obviously eventually down the road I will need to replace my tires but for now there was really no need for me to purchase new tires but if I wanted to go ahead and put two new tires on the car, he would do that. I explained to him I was truly grateful for his honesty. I am a working person on a budget. He could’ve said nothing and let me drive out of there with two new tires I really didn’t need. He put my original tires back on my car and off I went. I just want everyone to know how honest and awesome James and William are at this super Walmart! I hope corporate reads this review and does something special for the both of them like give them raises or promotions . It’s also best to make an appointment since this location is very busy

Waited over 35 minutes to get help on the Lego isle , pressed the button and asked the guy to use the intercom then talked to two people for help , no one has came and helped me and completely waisted my time on Valentine’s Day , terrible Walmart terrible employees

Too much theft. So much is locked up, and you have to wait a long time for someone with a key. The place I used to work at and retired from closed because of it.

I'm a weekly shopper at this Walmart. This one star review is based on the self checkout lines being completely closed prior to 10am. When I was done with shopping I proceeded to the self checkouts and to my surprise they were all closed? I asked an employee why this was so and she informed me that only the Spark delivery drivers that Walmart uses were allowed to use the self checkout prior to 10 am. Or she said you can download the "Scan and Go" app and pay a $100 yearly subscription. WTF? My only option was to go to the cashier checkout which only 4 were open at 9:40am all with long lines of customers. When I spoke to the cashier as to why all the self checkouts were closed he told me they have a new marketing manager and this was their new policy to have all the self checkouts only available to the spark drivers prior to 10am? Who's hair brained idea is this? I'm hoping that Bobby the Manager will read this and with enough negative feedback from me and other annoyed morning shoppers that this new policy is just a temporary one. Reopen the self checkouts in the morning!

I will never be ordering from this store again last night I tried to order much needed supplies as it would be easier and less costly then going via Uber, Walmart had sent me verification codes no problem then asked me to change my password again no problem then canceled my order big problem but ok I reordered and logged out later I logged back in to see when I would get my order at what time I needed another verification code and surprise surprise a password change made no sense but ok so I did that Walmart didn't tell me they canceled my order again I found out later they sent it threw a old email I previously read this morning I went to check my order not nowing it was canceled again had to re verify my account again with another password change and found out they canceled it last night threw a read email I don't trust Walmart it is scammy as hell just to order a few basic necessities that's just disappointing, you lost a customer I know you have hundreds that will take my place heck even more but never again from me

Their phone customer service sucks! They hang up on u and are very rude
