By far worst pharmacy! The staff is rude, they consistently make mistakes and are not honest in relaying delays to patients. Example: I had a medication not covered by the insurance and instead of telling me that and giving me the option to pay cash (which I was fine with) they instead told me my doctors office had not responded to information they needed. As some one that works in the medical field the verbiage they used was completely false and when I stated so it was only at that point all of a sudden the prescription was ready. Today I received a notification that my rx was ready and to head to the pharmacy, 10 mins later I arrived at 7:05 to be told they now close at 7:00 p.m. For someone that is off at 6 and commutes don't waste your time speeding here, go to Walgreen's!

Excellent customer service. Pharmacy Technician Jennai was extremely kind and helpful. Pharmacist Alicia thoroughly explained the use and side effects of my medication and answered questions about my concerns. I felt so much better about my situation as I left!! Thank You ladies, very much appreciated!!

Before I switched to a Sutter doctor (and Walgreens pharmacy in Natomas), I sent my Dignity Health/Mercy prescriptions to be filled at this West Sac Wal-Mart pharmacy as it is convenient to the office/worksite. Jennai is always super sweet, have also been helped by a younger Filipina girl before. Refilling is easy in the Walmart app, express payment by scanning a QR code or having a payment method saved so it's pretty contactless. They call to remind you when your meds are ready for pickup, or if you haven't picked them up yet. If you also sign up for email or text reminders those are also great. I believe they also had a curbside pickup or even by mail. I have also gotten a flu shot here, as well as my Covid-19 booster shot (Moderna). I was checked in, temperature taken (wrist), questions answered. Pharmacist Julie administered my booster today and definitely recommends making an appointment as walk-ins aren't as easily accommodated since the booster became available to all adults. When you make your appointment and select location, it will say which of the vaccines they have available. This West Sac pharmacy has all three: Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. When I tried booking a booster appointment through Sutter or Dignity, there were no appointment timeslots available until mid January! So don't overlook or pass judgement on Walmart as an option for vaccines if you can't find any at Walgreens, Rite Aid or CVS, Safeway, etc.

Save yourself the headache. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.Very regid judgement and I had to have my physician call in and they still made it very difficult for me to get my prescription.. I had to call in multiple times into a busy doctors office to have them call into this pharmacy. Their policies are outlandish and almost feels they don’t believe you are there to pick up YOUR prescription. I had to have my doctor call into this pharmacy more than once and the issues never goes away.My doctor’s team even asked me to go else where, because of how difficult they are. The supervisor was of no help.

If you’re thinking of trying this pharmacy here’s a word of advice: DONT DO IT! Talked to someone at noon and had to get a partial refill because they once again were out of what I needed. I had to work so I asked my mom to grab them for me. She was treated so disrespectfully that I’m switching pharmacies and no longer shopping at this store. BTW THEY CLOSE FOR LUNCH NOW! Talked to employees this morning and no one said anything about closing for lunch. Not posted online and one tiny sign inside that can not be seen until being pointed out. Called and asked for a corporate phone number to complain and was told by an employee they can’t give me that number. So I’m leaving reviews anywhere I can. Seriously don’t try this pharamacy or store. They don’t care about customers at all.

One of the worse pharmacy with the slowest service. They make you wait on long lines and still your perception is not ready.

Usually me and my husband love coming to this Walmart, but the other day we came to this location we had got all our stuff checked out of the self checkout. As we were walking to the door I notice the guy that stands by the door to check our receipt kept looking at our baby stroller from a distance as we got closer he kept staring at it as if we stole something. me and my decided to show him our baby milk bag so he can stuff staring at us like we were some thief. I know he was doing his job but for him to do that it was rude, he could've waited for us to get to the door and ask nicely but he didn't

It should not take this long to pick up a renewed prescription. These people are incredibly slow. I'm looking for a new pharmacy.

I came in today and the woman behind the counter (short Asian lady) was so, so nice. I was taken aback when she asked me how I was because she asked so sincerely. Anyway I never have a problem here. Everyone's always nice and helpful.

This is the third incident with this pharmacy. I had my prescriptions transferred from Kaiser to Walmart to save money (like 45% savings). I called a week ago for a refill; they told me the medication was not in stock. I told them it will be a week when I come pick up, I was assured the med would be avail. Of course when it came time to pick up my medicine, it wasn't ready. I was asked to wait 30 minutes; I waited over an hour. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for. I don't have time to waste on foolishness . I will be transferring my prescriptions back to Kaiser.

Was here last evening pretty near closing as I had forgotten keys at my workplace and had to backtrack and so lost plenty of time, but such is life. My review is for the visit I did make, albeit I wasn't able to do my main errand due to Pay Bills counter closing, I was able to snag a great pair of sandals to ease my aching back. I've been walking a lot in flat sandals and I needed these great fake birkies they have; love em! I wore them to drive home and highly recommend the relief after too much flats wearing! I perused the deli section briefly, picked up egg n potato salad mmmm! Perused the fruits and picked up 4 perfectly fragrant peaches, also mmm! Checkout was pleasant and not stressful; the people around me were kind and polite and we discussed local events as we went along. The cashier was super nice and the whole trip was in a word - stress free. I am not sure why people diss this walmart; for me, it's usually just great. I get what I need and no hassle.
