“Really great gym. Truly nice staff. Amazing scheduling. Great coaches. I strongly recommend this gym if you are seeking a good workout. Also, I had a payment issue at the gym. We got lost in communication and the staff understood and fixed the situation, which shows that customer service is taken seriously at the gym.”

“I stumbled across Ernesto outside this amazing personal training studio. Ernesto happened to be the owner. I now have been training with them for almost two years. During Covid we trained at my home. The professional attitude was beyond. The one on one studio time is the best training I've had in 25 years. Also my results are beyond at 54. Highly recommend.”

“It's not Pilates, it's military-level Lagree. Absolutely the best place to take lagree and you will leave humbled, sore and questioning reality (in the best way possible). I've been coming here for almost four years and now am driving from echo park to take a class during rush hour it's that good.”

“They don’t do day passes (as a visitor) but do reasonably priced week passes. Staff friendly, very modern equipment, clean and cool premises and with a good vibe. Nice outside area too with an ice bath. Good stock of pre-workouts and protein.”

“There are gyms... and then there is FEDELE's GYM! Wow, it's incredible, with multiple rooms for private workouts, top-of-the-line equipment, and great cardio machines, and it also has a nice steam room to relax after a good workout. But honestly, it's not the equipment that makes this place special; it's Fedele himself. He's such a nice guy and an amazing trainer. I've worked in gyms worldwide, and I just discovered the hidden treasure of a gym I had no idea was there: the Rolls-Royce of workouts.”

“I’ve been following Dogpound for a while and finally got a chance to visit. I booked a personal training session for my fiancé and I for his birthday. Our trainer, Matt really pushed us and we had a great workout. The facility is super clean and maintained. I can’t wait to return when I’m back in LA.”

“Update: I've been to 6 or so spin classes hosted by Andre and Hans and I fell in love with this class because they talk through out the entire workout and it keeps you in shape! I burn around 300 Cals in 45 mins. Which is amazing. There are some reallllly nice giggly smiley employees here that are very friendly and I will include there names next time but overall the customer service has been level headed and I like the parking for $3 for 2 hours under ground. Overall this place stays clean and has all the fancy equipment I desire! Thanks to my non profit organization the Phoenix with collaborating with John Reed and this facility giving us some classes to help our goal of being sober and not isolating ourselves. We love the community.”

“I'll be honest, the majority of the reviews on this page are full of it (I would say something else but I am sure google would remove it after the triple ply soft other reviewers reported it). I went to Equinox in the Republic of Texas and then in London. I moved to West Hollywood and decided to jump on the John Reed bandwagon...mistake. It is "cute" all the little lights and signs, the DJ in the booth, etc. I come to workout and actually get after it. I have NEVER seen someone taking pics or recording at an Equinox, John Reed is one giant instagram shoot where they encourage you to take videos. John Reed has no towel service, no pool, no steam room, and almost no trainers whatsoever. J.R. is putting in a plunge pool and hot tub for summer, "cute", I want a real pool so I can swim and actually workout like I am paying to do. Let's be honest we are all just getting ready for PV and Fire Island anyways, do we really need to sit around being catty with each other on a random Tuesday at a gym's plunge pool as well? WEHO Equinox does not have a pool but your membership is all of Southern California, the ones right down the street about 5 mins do. I saw someone said its dated, a bit maybe but it is getting a complete remodel. There is a steam room, trainers, a greater number and variety of classes, pools, locations, it goes on and on. If you are looking for content by all means go to John Reed. If you are looking for an upscale gym where people are there to workout, get better, transform themselves, then WEHO Equinox is 100% the place for you. Plus, it has free parking which John Reed does not. Call and ask for Conner, he made coming back super easy for me. Jake is my personal trainer I have been seeing 4 times a week, he's next level. I have specific goals and timelines that I am trying to hit and not every trainer knows how to get to where I want to go. Workouts, dietary, body composition, aesthetics, I told him exactly what I wanted and he has done all the work to make the plan to get me there not to mention motivate.DO NOT listen to the chirping. At a minimum call Connor, check it out, have a workout then make the call for yourself. I have zero regrets.”
