Daddy Don seems absent minded and the fact that he used the incorrect SSN the first year we hired him made me really question his state of mind. The second time we hired him was unfortunate because he failed to file our taxes by April 15th and got defensive when we confronted him to provide us the e-file receipt. Clearly he had not filed on time and then suddenly remembered that “he had mailed our tax so we waited months but it turned out that the IRS had no record of our returns. We ended up filing our returns months after the deadline because of him.The one thing that stood out to us the second time we hired him was “vacation trip he kept mentioning that was to begin the day after he April 15th Tax deadline. That’s where his mind was the weak leading up to the tax filing deadline and then he was unavailable to reach for two weeks thereafter. And it wasn’t until he returned from his vacation and that we learned our tax returns were mailed via snail mail and not e-filed as we were told they would be.Two tries and both years DD screwed up. I wouldn’t trust this guy to file your tax returns if you’re considering hiring him. Please read reviews when seeking a tax preparer to avoid hiring an incompetent, preoccupied, messy one like Daddy Don.

After using Donald, I stopped having to worry about my taxes. I submit a file to him every month and know that it's gonna get taken care of, and he is very transparent about the amount of time he takes to do the work. I'm glad to have him.

Don falsley filed over $1500 of expenses as income on my 1099s from multiple employers that use him. When brought to his attention, he told me to "write it off", and then ignored me as I continued to ask him to fix it. Both the employers and I asked him to correct them to no avail. Don is running a fraudulent business and I will be reporting him to the IRS this year as I had to pay extra on my taxes because of his refusal to correct his mistake.

STAY AWAY!!! I had a tax guy for years who took great care of me. He taught me so much throughout our time working together. He retired and I had to find someone new. I found Don online and I'm so disappointed in his business practices. He agreed to one thing in person and months later I find that he has filed things on my behalf that I never asked for. Attempting to contact him has proven futile as he is "not in the office" the majority of the time. My taxes are fairly simple. I always receive a small refund from both state and fed. Previous to Don, the fee was automatically deducted from my returns. Somehow his calculations have me owing him a fee 3 times my normal return. He has no answers via phone or email and now I'm in collections dealing with a wonderful woman who unfortunately has no answers as well. It's 2021... this is from 2016. He sent my info to collections in Nov 2020 per the collection agent. If he had a rough year like most during the pandemic, this is not the way to handle it. I'm disappointed and disgusted by this man's business practices.

Donald has done my taxes for about 25 years. The past 7 years I’ve been living in Asia & he’s able to handle my taxes long distance. Truly professional and trustworthy.

Met Don for the first time today and I was immediately impressed. I have a back log of tax issues and he was extremely forthcoming and direct, about both strategy and costs along with some future planning tax thoughts. Hollywood isn't the most convenient location for me but the drive was worth it. Do yourself the favor and meet Don. He's an amazing human being that will get your financial life in order!
