I just had both of my family Subaru CrossTrek serviced at Toriumi Automotive Repair shop.
I appreciate their hard working staff, their attention to details about possible repair issues, and fair pricing. I know that I always am getting an honest assessment of my automotive needs.

Toriumi has been my go-to shop but the last couple times I've been, the prices seem unreasonable. Was recently quoted ~$850 for a job that required 350$ in parts and took me, someone with zero mechanical experience, an hour to complete.
Meaning it would've taken a professional maybe 15-30minutes . The other part was a battery install which takes 5.
So ~$400 of labor cost for, what would've/could've been, an hour worth of time seems unreasonable.
I have no complaints about the quality of work, however. Never had any issues. But the prices, at least in my case, seemed way high.

Based on customer reviews I took my truck in for a diagnostic.Other great reviews are accurate. Toriumi's staff were friendly and welcoming. They provided quality and competent services. I will now be using them for future services. I recommend them for your vehicle's needs.

I have been taking my vehicles here for thirty years. They are able to fix problems that no one else seems to be able to fix, and they are honest, friendly, efficient and professional. I don’t know what I would do without their services.

We are on our road trip from Florida, smelt something like rubber burning mid way, got it checked here at Toriumi. We did not want to stop in California, and wished to at least make it till Houston before we gave the car in for repair.
Succint information about the issue with our car was given to us, and the car temporarily patched up (with engine oil refill) to be on its way. And this was done without any charge and despite being overbooked. A very warm gesture especially in a country where everything runs by appointment.
My husband insists that I use the phrase "gem of a person" for the man who helped us. So here you are sir, a gem of a person.
We recommend this place one hundred percent.

Toriumi's is the best. They've been taking care of our 2007 CR-V since it was out of warranty, and they've always been on top of it. I recommend Toriumi's to everybody.
