“My Taiwanese dad and I loved this shop. If you're looking for legit Taiwanese products, definitely check this place out! Found a lot of cool and unique snacks that you can't find at your typical Asian market. They also have a selection of loose leaf tea and tea bags. Service was good, the cashier was very friendly and we were given a freebie (probably because we bought a lot). Although the store is small, it's very fun to look and shop at because it's got a unique selection that's hard to find.”

“I have to update my review. Stater Brothers is on it, I really have to give them credit.I had to run in for a few things this morning and I was going to stear clear of the meats department. But, when I was passing that aria I saw two people discussing how to make sure their meats were as fresh and they could be for their customers. I really appreciated that. So I went up to them and talked to the manager Chris. I mentioned my problem and they assured me that they were working on fixing it and refunded my pork for Tuesday and gave me a gift card. I could see that they were taking this problem seriously. I really appreciate that. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this stater brothers market.Old review:I really like this stater brothers market. The staff are friendly, there's lots of parking out front and it's pretty clean and organized. I can easily find everything I'm looking for. I gave a 3 stars because I've continued to have issues with their pork. Half the time it goes bad by the next day or it's already rotten when it leaves the store. I've just gotten my last pack of green smelly pork from this stater brothers, I'm done.”

“This is my go-to place to grocery shop when I am in Walnut, Covina, Diamond Barr, CA. Nothing special, but they have the basics.I gave them 4 stars for appearance and cleanliness, but marked off one because I brought about $1600 in unrolled coins to exchange for cash in coinstar. I hit the max limit on the machine, and sent my sister to get the cash and I would start on the next load of coins. She ran back to me and warned me to stop immediately, that the store didn't know if they could cover it. Oh no! What do I do with the voucher, how do I claim it since the coins were in this coinstar machine at this store. The store scrambled around for 30 minutes. One person was trying to find about $1,000 to give me for the voucher, 1 person was fiddling with the machine to find out how to stop it from taking any more coins for the day. And one person told me, once they confirmed they had enough cash, to go through the line to get paid just like everyone else. Okay, that sounds fair.Went through the line and the cashier said they didn't have enough money and put me aside while the manager continued to look for enough cash. Finally they found it and I had to wait for a cashier to free up, after already waiting in line, and 30 minutes to see if they could honor it, panic calling coinstar customer service, and waiting on hold. I finally got paid. We ended up having to go to Stater brothers further North in Walnut (my sister called them first to make sure they had enough to cover maybe another $1,000, and they said they did).I marked off one star for wasting my time in the store. Would think they would be more prepared, or maybe I am unreasonable as I think they did the best they could and after all, they were able to cover our $1,000 or so run on coinstar.”

“Love the prices! I especially love the packaged salads. Cheaper than making a salad. Avocado bundle is the lowest price around. Also, if you're making a charcuterie tray, the cheese, salami and crackers are the best!!”

“I was at Vons, in southern Walnut getting coins converted to cash with coinstar when the store warned us they may not be able to cover the $1,200 we already ran through their machine. Fortunately, they found some money to pay us. My sister called Stater Brothers in Walnut and spoke to a manager. She explained what had happened to us in Vons, and said we maybe had another $1,000 and could this Stater store cover us. The manager said he could. So when we finished at Vons, we came over to here.I've never been in a Stater store before. The place was well lit, bright, and the A/C was welcomed. Vons wasn't as well lit, and not quite as cool, but tolerable and we still like shopping at Vons. Anyways, we went to town on the coinstar machine. We only ended up with about another $300 after the $1200 or so at Vons. While we were pouring coins, an assistance manager came over to us and asked if we were the coin people that called. We said we were. She said fantastic. She was about to drop some money but decided to hang on a bit since she had hear from the other gentleman manager that some coin folks were coming. We finished our coins, hopped into that manager's line, and he gave us the cash. Much more simple and faster than when we did it at Vons.Very nice store, nice staff, would like to come shop here sometime when I am back in the area. Thank you.On a side note, my aunt's house was abandoned for 5 years. My aunt had Stater brother cans of food (veggies, fruits, etc) in her kitchen cabinets. Almost all of them split and leaked ruining the cabinets and dripping down the walls. I'd probably avoid buying Stater brother canned products and stick with name brand if you intend to buy canned goods for the long haul.”

“A good grocery store. I was surprised at the deals here. Maybe it’s because we’re from out of town., but my family liked the store and the produce that was here. The location was good with plenty of parking. Next time we’re in town., we would have no problem coming to another vons. Look forward to our next visit.”
