Why charge $5 for ultrasound images if you’re not going to send it? And next time, there’s no refund and they’re not able to apply it towards next visit. Reason: I didn’t call to find out why I didn’t receive the images. Sure, I filled out the paperwork and paid and it’s your job to send the images to me. Stop nickel and diming people if you can’t do your job properly. Plus I never received a call from a specialty ultrasound place they referred me to. Please do your job.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the team at Diablo Valley Perinatal. I saw them every week during my pregnancy, and I truly believe they saved our baby's life. During our twenty-week scan, they detected that I was in preterm labor and immediately took action by placing a cerclage. This swift intervention made all the difference.
A moment that will forever stand out in my mind is when I had to receive an epidural during the cerclage procedure. I was incredibly tense, but Dr. Won held my hand, offering such kindness and reassurance that it helped me through an incredibly difficult time. After the cerclage, when it appeared that the placenta might not be providing enough nourishment to our baby, Dr. Won diligently monitored and guided us through every step until we safely welcomed our healthy baby into the world.
I also had the privilege of being cared for by Dr. Keller and Dr. Traynor, who were equally wonderful and knowledgeable. Their wise advice and compassionate care throughout my high-risk pregnancy were invaluable.
While I’ve noticed some reviews mention long wait times, it’s honestly unimaginable to me to be upset over that. Yes, there were days when we had to wait, but when it comes to the lives of your baby and yourself, the quality of care far outweighs the inconvenience of waiting. Every doctor, along with the entire staff, was always informative, willing to answer our questions, and dedicated to helping us navigate this challenging journey.
I cannot recommend Diablo Valley Perinatal enough. There are no words, gifts, or gestures that could ever adequately thank them for the care and protection they provided to our child.

Me and my husband has a good experience with Diablo Valley Associates. Visits are on time. First we came even with no appointment, but been accepted. Small but very nice thing for me - they put warm gel on belly for ultrasound. The ultrasound machine is very good, the ultrasound specialist is very attentive and nice. The biggest thanks for Dr. Bryan Kellert! God bless you, doctor!

While the care was great, I know for a fact they are ripping people off with their billing department.
I received my LAST bill and paid it for $347.50. Months later, received the same bill for the same amount threatening to send me to collections. I paid it again not thinking (mom brain), found proof of the first payment and gave the billing department a call. They claim they never received either payment. I’ve provided proof that I paid TWICE through the website ON THEIR BILL.
I’ve called 15 times, gotten the run around every time. No help. At a loss for words. If this is happening to me, I know it’s happening to lots of others since that office sees hundreds of women a day.

They do not respect your time. Period. I showed up at 8:55 for a 9 am appointment. Three other people were already there. I filled out the paperwork by 9:08 and sat back expecting to be called soon. Nope! Two of the people already waiting got called along with the SEVEN other people who showed up after me. So, after waiting 40 minutes with no sign of getting seen, I left. They seemed flabbergasted, but I think it’s time medical businesses remember that we have options. Gave this place my business for my entire first pregnancy, will never return for this or any future pregnancies.
Also note, two of the three people already waiting got called - not all three. Meaning another woman sat there for 40 min, too. They didn’t just disrespect my time, they disrespected hers, as well.

Terrible manner by tech Holy and Dr. Traynor!!! I was there for my 12 week ultrasound and horrible manner from the beginning!! I would never take my business there again and would seek care at another professional place! I asked my OB for a referral to another place for my 20 wks ultrasound and just had a visit at Berkley UCSF. Very kind, professional and great care at Berkley! I am so happy with my decisions!

HORRIBLE experience, they never answer there phone even when i call (during business hours), they schedule me an appointment on a saturday at 6:30 am and tell me to get here at 6:15 (before they’re open) and when we get here it all seems to be closed and they don’t answer their phone.

I have a feeling only people with bad experiences are reviewing so take the star rating with a grain of salt….. I’ve been here 4 times now and have always had a great experience with the ultrasound technicians and physicians. They have always made sure to ask if I have any questions and thoroughly explain the results after each scan. Yes, sometimes there is a wait but I’ve never been to a doctor’s office that ran right on schedule - especially when you’re dealing with the unpredictably of pregnancy.

I came here for 13 week and 20 week scans, and I was nervous because of the other reviews but I had an amazing experience at my 20 weeks scan. Holly was my ultrasound tech and she was so kind and friendly, explaining everything in detail. She was gentle and made the scan exciting and enjoyable! Thank you!!

I came here for both my 3 month and 5 month ultrasounds. Honestly, I was hesitant because of the other reviews but I had a great experience both times. I chose 6:30am appointments so they were always on time and I felt the ultrasound techs (I had three different ones between both appointments) took their time. They were never overly rough with me and they gave me a complimentary print out of the baby’s profile at each appointment. I was told up front during scheduling that children under the age of 18 were not allowed inside. This was also not an issue because I wouldn’t want my kids there anyways in case of bad news. During my first visit I felt the female doctor that came in took her time and was super attentive and compassionate. Because of my history, she suggested some additional testing and referred me to an outside facility for a fetal echo. My OB ended up agreeing that this should be scheduled. During my second appointment a male doctor came in and advised the baby looked perfect and he didn’t feel I needed to go back for additional scans. He was definitely way more rushed but was never rude and no news is good news in my book. I don’t think a lot of people who have positive experiences are writing reviews so please keep that in mind when you are referred here.

Horrible bedside manners. I’ve never experienced this level of humiliation and unprofessionalism before. Ultrasound technician (name Holly) applied so much pressure that I had to ask her to be a bit more careful a few times. As a response she gave me an angry look, said “ok”. But kept doing what she was doing before. For the whole duration of the appointment, technician newer commented what she was doing. It was conducted in a complete silence. And last 5 minutes of the appointment, after she already took all the images and measurements, she was just randomly pressing on my belly at different points. Eventually I asked her “could you please tell me what are we looking for”? And she shouted: “I just do what your doctor asked, I’m looking for a perfect neck picture.” - “But you already took a bunch of them.” - “Do you want me to stop?” - “No, please continue if this is what doctor requested you to do… but it is very painful…”
She did a few more motions and said I’m done. Without taking any pictures. So my last 5+ minutes of torture were unnecessary. And she knew she has everything she needs, because doctor later said all the results are complete. And the results of the scan were good, so there was no reason to torture me for more pictures, this was not an abnormal scan.
I still have abdominal pain 1 hour after the appointment. Never coming back to this place…
Pregnancy is a such a wonderful time, and ultrasound interactions with your baby should be a pleasant experience. Unfortunately this one was not. Me and my husband were shocked how unprofessional and rude the staff was to us.
They also try to sell you unnecessary procedures and consultations very aggressively.
Also their waiting time is horrible: we waited 45 minutes to be seen. And the facility is overcrowded with patients waiting for their appointments. When I asked if it is their typical waiting time, the desk responded: there are high priority patients before you. Well… thank you for letting me know I’m not a priority.

This place is horrible! Literally every time I go they just seem to want to rush me out of there as fast as possible. I always arrive early to my appointments yet I get called in 30 minutes late for my scheduled appointment, when the rest of the waiting room got called in before me (like 20 people) even though they arrived later than me, no apologies or any acknowledgment for the wait (mind you I drive 30 minutes to get here). The ultrasound tech was really rude and professional and when I said I can't see the baby in the one ultrasound pic she handed me after hurredly scanning me she just asked "oh should I just shred it". Who the hell says that to a first time mom, anyways this place is trash, never been to a medical facility where patient service is so bad in my life especially to pregnant women.

Go literally anywhere else. It’s like a puppy mill for pregnant women’s ultrasounds. Terrible service and customer experience. They don’t allow children, but this is communicated nowhere on the website or in the office. My 2 year old and husband had to wait in the car.

Ultra sound tech and the doctor were super rude. Zero compassion and kindness. They had attitude even answering questions. They made us pay for a simple ultra sound image and didn’t let us even record heart rate sound. It seemed like they hated their jobs or their lives and reflected that on patients.
