I had a need to visit the Express Care location in Vista. I could not have had a better experience. Stacey in the front office and the check in nurse were great. My NP Jessica was exceptional. Thorough, knowledgeable, and kind.

I absolutely love the staff here at the infusion center. I have not had any nurse in this department that did not show stellar patient service. There are a few individuals at this office, to include front staff, that go over and beyond for their patients: Nurse Riley, Nurse Lizzelle, Nurse Karen, NP Anne, Cindy, Michael and front staff, Josie and Olivia. (I hope I got all the names right ). I have been to other infusion locations at UCSD and this by far, I will drive further to come too! Great Job Ladies!

When they drew my blood the tech told me the results would begin populating that night. Then Dr, Husain requested a visit to talk with me about the results the very next day. When I was a kid in school we learned about a type of medical care that is rare to find about "preventive medicine". But when UCSD offered me a "DO" medical doctor that does preventive medical care, I was astounded. I am not sure entirely what all this means. All I know is I can easily sense the brillance of this doctor. My Medicare insurance agent told me that UCSD is the finest of all medical care in San Diego, that's why I am here. I consider it a privilege to be here. The check in staff for appointments is a 5 star experience very time. They remind me of checking into a Marriott. UCSD is a remarkable organization. I freely tell theri staff when I come. I appreciate all of them. Magda, my disbetes educator gave me some confidence with my Insulin PEN, which I still have to use for my first time. Roderick

Cherry is the best as is Dr win but they have no compassion when your out of medicine you call and ask and they always let you run out and it gets us sick and shouldn’t happen. To me getting medication shouldn’t be cruel and unusal punishment

Positive shout out to Cherry and Dr. Nguyen who are very prompt in their communications, kind and client focused! Thank you. They deserve 5 stars and ultimately medical attention is why we come to the doctor. However I’ve consistently had very negative and unpleasant experiences with their “check in” person as I see in the reviews others have as well! She’s rude, short and cold so often and to such a degree that I’ve actually considered switching doctor offices. Interestingly as I’ve sat waiting she has plenty of time to chat with coworkers, which I understand, but perhaps she could channel some of that to client relations. I don’t know her name but she’s at the front desk checking people in every time I’ve been in. Hopefully the office realizes how beneficial having a kind, friendly, warm check in person would be for helping patients-feel more at ease for the appointments and either train this person or hire someone else so the office can have a more supportive and harmonious environment. Sorry to give the office such a low review but until the check in process is a neutral to pleasant experience I can’t justify any higher ratings. I shared with Cherry how upset I was from the rude “welcome” and she suggested that “we listen” form ucsd or something like that would contact me to document my experience. I also wanted possible patients to know what they’re getting into before choosing this as their primary care provider location.

New to the city and seeking a doctor recommended by a new Vista acquaintance, I visited the UCSD Health System, Vista, clinic at 910 Sycamore Ave. and was immediately and rudely dismissed by the front desk. I was told that none of the staff doctors were accepting new patients. I tried to get a clue as to why the clinic was at capacity--was it because of people returning to normal and once again visiting their family doctor? I did not seek to challenge their response, but just wanted any relevant insight. "Because we're popular," one person flipped. Further, I asked if there was a waiting list for future openings and was, once again dismissed without any explanation. The advice I received was to drive 20 minutes further South to their San Diego clinic. Thanks for your kind attention and expert advice.

It takes 5 to 7 business days to get back blood work and a medical assistant calls you back not a NP or the DR. You would think this office because its linked to UCSD that you would get a faster response from your blood work not professional!! Scripps gets back to you in 1 to 2 days

My husband and I agree that Dr. Hergesheimer is the best doctor we have ever had. We both have underlying conditions and we have found that Dr. "H" is up-to-date on all of the latest research. He is truly kind and always takes the time to listen. He even responds quickly through the UCSD MyChart portal. Truly an amazing doctor!!

I had kidney cancer and they were fantastic! But since then all of my follow up visits have been a disaster. The parking is so bad I had to leave . Absolutely no parking! Every time anytime of the day. To reschedule, it takes 3 months and even then the problem is the same! If you have medical issues and aren't able to walk very far , then your are screwed! The Valet parking is a joke !! The people running the place charge the nurses and staff a lot of money to park also! What kind of crap is that! Would you charge your kids to eat?.! The problem is if you can't get in for treatment, by the time you do get in it will be by ambulance and the minor problem is now a life threatening problem because they can't get you in to diagnose a simple problem in time to prevent the cancer to grow to a untreatable cancer . I hate to say it but I'm going to scripps SAVE YOURSELF!!GO ANYWHERE BUT NOT UCSD LAJOLLA! And Ucsd Hillcrest is so old it should be a museum.....

Doctors keep sending 1 month supplies when they do not last the whole month even when you tell the to change. They never call back when you leave a message about needing more medical supplies. They let you run out of your necessary medical supplies and expect you to be fine with it.

Dr Karen Cadman has been my primary doctor for over ten years. She has always provided excellent care & seems to know the latest relevant research. I especially like how she listens to me & trusts that I know when my body isn't feeling right. She refers me to physical therapy & other specialists as needed. My husband wanted a new doctor and tried Dr Cadman over a year ago. He thinks she's great too, describing her as 'professional, matter of fact, good sense of humor'.

Dr. Hersheimer is the best. Both of my parents have been patients for over 15 years. He is a kind and calm physician who never rushed us and always made time either in person or when returning calls. He is also a director for hospice.
