Awful experience. My daughter was seen at urgent care for high fevers for 5 days, they found an upper respiratory infection and bilateral ear infection. They prescribed antibiotics for her and sent the prescription here to Walgreens on Walnut. Unfortunately they’re was a glitch in the system because somehow when the pharmacy checked it looked like it was sent under her twin brothers name. I believe it was because they share the same birthday. We called urgent care and they guaranteed us they sent it under the right name on their end and we even had the urgent care paperwork to prove it was sent under her name and account number and the paperwork had the antibiotic prescribed. Still, They refused to fill the antibiotic, even when I respectfully argued that we could just fill it under her brothers name if needed. I was insisting because she desperately needed the medication since she did not appear well and has an active infection. I also stated that the pharmacist was delaying care on my daughter’s treatment by refusing to fill the medication when we clearly were going to give the medicine to the correct patient. I even begged to reconsider since my daughter could end up in the ER because of this bad infection. The pharmacist showed no empathy and said I needed to have the doctor resend it under the correct name, I argued that it was 10 mins before closing time and my daughter was very sick. The pharmacist did not care, she said she wouldn’t argue with me and was very rude by hanging up the phone at the window before I could finish talking to her and she just walked away. I am never using this pharmacy again and I would urge people to consider using another pharmacy, one with more human decency and empathy for patients.

0 stars should be an option. Total crap. They messed up my medication not 1, not 2, but 3 times on the same prescription and were super rude to boot. Had interactions with three different people. All had a nasty attitude AND never bothered to give me any instruction on a new medication. NEVER AGAIN!

If giving negative stars was option, that's what I'd give this pharmacy. Their service is horrible. They rarely have medications in stock. The automated response will tell you that the prescription is being ordered but most times it's not. You have to call to get them to actually check on it and to get it in stock. Good luck dealing with someone on the phone. This place sucks.

If there is a pharmacy in hell it's staffed by these employees. I went for a simple pick up. Was told to return 4 times. Than they said there was a problem with my insurance. There was no problem, and after my Dr called them to clear things up they had me wait another hour. After they were done with their games they said they didn't even have my medication in stock. I wasted 6 hours for absolutely nothing.

The lady answering phone calls today. Her attitude was disgusting. Today august 16th 2023 I called this morning at 9:19am asking if I could get my meds sent to my house and she was very rude and wouldn’t even let me finish my sentence and I had to sit on the phone for 15 mins just to actually talk to her and she proceed to ask a question and not even wait for a response and puts me on hold to wait longer. I called again at 3:23pm to ask for an update and once again very rude.If the employees have some type of problem going on at home they need to leave it at home and not be taking their anger and frustration out on customers. That employee should be ashamed of herself. Hope she learns and if she doesn’t,I hope someone puts her in her place. Manager please talk toYour employees.

This Walgreens pharmacy has extremely poor service. I wanted to refill a prescription but was out of refills.The prescription can be refilled after contacting the doctor's office, which takes a day or two. The item doesn't actually require a prescription since it is sold over the counter, but with the prescription, the price is much reduced. It used to be the case that a good pharmacist would ask if you are out of the med, or item, and if so, give you a couple of "samples" to hold you over for a day or two. Not anymore at Walgreens. Instead, I got a snippy bad attitude from the pharmacy clerk. The only option given was to purchase a full box for $100. The messy store was almost empty of customers, and with such bad service, I can see why. Avoid this Walgreens pharmacy.

ALWAYS A PROBLEM AT THIS PHARMACY! THIS TIME IT WAS THE LINE FOR THE DRIVE THRU WRAPPED AROUND THE BUILDING YET THE STAFF TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME COMING BACK FROM THEIR LUNCH AT 210 WHEN PEOPLE HAVE THEIR CARS SITTING IDLING IN 110 DEGREE VISALIA HEAT FOR 12 MINUTES PAST THE REOPEN TIME.... DEFINENTLY NEED AN OVERHAUL IN THAT DEPARTMENT. I THINK THE ONLY REASON THEY STAY IN BUSINESS IS THE LOCATION AND THE FREE CELL PHONE CARRIERS OUT IN THE PARKING LOT THE PAST 2-3YEARS BRINGING IN BUSINESS.

The store is great, the pharmacy on the other hand is always understaffed and the service there sucks because of it.
