They claim to be in desperate need of fosters. Yet, they don't respond to your foster application or any of your emails. I'll take my volunteer work elsewhere, someone who will appreciate my help.

While viewing this site, my only complaint is that most of the photos are 3-7 years old. Why? You should remove them and replace them with what you have to offer. Who wants to look at a photo from 5yrs ago when that pet is no longer there, it makes no sense!

I never leave reviews but this place is ridiculous! Their appointment booking system is the absolute worst. I’ve tried to schedule a spaying appointment for the last 2-weeks and have had no luck. They are understaffed and completely rude! If you can go somewhere else I’d recommend it.

Very rude and unappreciative of volunteers and fosters. I could go on for hours about the shadiness of this place but I’m just putting it this way- they clearly don’t care about the animals or those who give up their time to better this place and tend to prioritize the money they receive to the owner & her family can go on vacations. Support private rescues instead of this disgrace.

I just adopted a beautiful dog from VOSPCA & had a fantastic experience. All staff were very attentive & friendly; from my emails with Jade to my interview with Tessa & everyone else I came into contact with. I believe I came home with the best dog for me & am content at having a canine companion in my home again. Looking forward to happy days with my dog Numa (formerly RJ). Thank you everyone at Valley Oak SPCA.

I donated a few hundred dollars worth of food and not a single volunteer said thank you or helped me get anything out of my car…. They were too busy on their phones. Next time I’ll donate to an organization that is appreciative.

A wonderful no-kill shelter. I've been there several times and they're happy to accept donations and volunteers to help walk the dogs. Check on Facebook to see what needs they have.
