I’ve been taking Bear ? here for a lot of years and I’ve always appreciated the girls at the desk, and the care of the doctors available. Every issue has been resolved with the proper medications or vaccines, and I wouldn’t take my Bear to any other facility. Thank you Care at the Courtyard!

Made a very difficult situation a little bit easier by being understanding. We had to put our senior dog to rest and they made it a very peaceful experience. Your pet is in great hands at this clinic. Thank you for taking care of our beloved sugar.

Turned around as soon as I walked in. They won’t even tell you a ballpark estimate for having your animal fixed without paying. Not even a guess as to how much any of their services cost.

Dr. Johnson always takes care of our 7 Dachshunds. She spends all the time we need with us and our pups to make sure they are the healthiest they can be. The vet techs and veterinary assistants are really good also. When we don’t need to see Dr. Johnson and just need a vet tech appointment they always get us in. I would like to shout out to Britney and Lexi in particular, but everyone at Care at the Courtyard are all 5 stars. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Fast forward to September 18 2024. 3 of our Dachshunds got into a sago plants roots while chasing Lizards. All 3 chewed on the roots and got extremely ill. Sago’s are extremely poisonous to dogs and most don’t survive without immediate treatment. We called Care at the Courtyard and they had us bring them in right away. All the staff there was ready for us. Dr. Johnson immediately started treating them and poison control was called, she worked closely with poison control and did everything she could to save our Dachshunds. It worked they are recovering after a long day there and at night at the emergency animal hospital and then back in the morning to Care at the Courtyard where again the staff and Dr. Johnson were waiting for us to continue treatment all day and bloodwork to make sure the treatments were working for their Liver and Kidneys. I’m happy to say that all 3 are home tonight and resting comfortably. Both myself and my wife truly believe that Care at the Courtyard, the very caring Staff and the incredible Dr. Johnson saved our puppies lives. Lucee almost 2, Tootsie 1 and Laddi-Da 1. Thank you so very much.

I'm so grateful that they were able to accommodate our dog as a new patient. The assistant and doctor seemed to be very experienced and took good care of him. The clinic was very busy when we checked in. They had several people working in the front office, but there was one particular receptionist who was very helpful. Unfortunately, when we checked out, we were accidentally given another patient's medication, but I didn't notice until we got home and read the label, so we had to return the following day.

I have been going to Care at the Courtyard for almost 7 years. Dr Kooiman is our favorite. On the other hand I can’t say that I can trust the competency of the other doctors here for my animals.

Took my German shepherd in because he was having issues with his ear. They were super friendly there and I feel like prices were not too bad

If you want your pet to die or condition to worsen then this is the place to go. The veterinarian is not
Knowledgeable at all. Her diagnosis is through trial and error at all times. Which is fine but at some point you have to narrow down your diagnostic list. I don’t mind paying for servers that’s needed to be rendered properly. But if the vets scope of knowledge is limited they should be professional enough to refer to another colleague. Doctors do that all the time with their patients. However, this Vet is all about money and very limited knowledge. I am not going to mention how unprofessional are some of the front office administrative staff. Please do yourself and your pet a service and find another provider. I don’t know how this place got 4.6 ⭐️. This is at best 2⭐️

Dr Chris Petersen is a very caring, compassionate and thoughtful vet. He laid out all our options for the care of our beloved dog when he became ill. He somehow was that perfect blend of honesty (no sugar coating what to expect ) and gentleness that allowed us to make the best care decisions for our sweet boy. When it was “time” he reassured me that I was making the best yet hardest decision but allowed me to spend as much time with Buster before, during and after as I needed. Today I got the sweetest sympathy card and once again he reiterated what a wonderful life we gave our furbaby and that we made the right decision for him. Included in the card was the paw and “boop” ( nose ) print I had requested and a poem about the Rainbow Bridge. I will always be grateful for the kindness of Dr. Petersen and his team.
